  We have been using McAvoy for over 30 years, for our personal and business tax preparation, as well as other ad-hoc financial reporting and business services. We could not be more satisfied with the service that we have received over the years, and we cannot say enough good things about the entire McAvoy team. They deliver great work in a timely manner, all at an excellent value. We also appreciate that they are highly responsive to their clients' needs. Just recently, we needed a one-off project completed, on a tight deadline, and Brian really went out of his way to accomodate us. Moreover, they are kind people and just an overall pleasure to work with. As a fellow family business owner, we're glad to see that the McAvoy business is staying in very capable hands with Brian.

  I worked with McAvoy CPA for the first time this year. They were incredibly responsive and helpful with all processes and questions. They set me up in an easy online system where I was able to upload and sort my documents. There was quick questionnaire, and that was it! I also had moved from a different state, and they handled that without issue. They made the entire tax process seamless, and I felt confident in the work. I will definitely continue using their services and highly recommend.

  I went to McAvoy CPA to have my taxes done. Brian was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process! He was us up to date with tax laws, allowances, and requirements. Their app was extremely user friendly and took away all of my tax season stress away. He found mistakes that were affecting my refund and advised on changes in my withholdings for the next year. He was easy to get in touch with and always prepared. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend!!!

  Brian and his team at McAvoy CPA LLC were fantastic in getting my taxes done. Working in the arts, I had multiple tax documents from multiple states. I was quickly able to upload them to Brian and his team on a very easy to use app by just taking a photo. Once my documents were uploaded, they worked on getting the maximum return for me and had my entire tax return finished extremely quickly. Once they were complete, Brian personally took the time to meet with me, walk me through the tax returns, and answer any questions that I had. All in all, Brian and his team took all of the stress out of filing my taxes.

  McAvoy CPA was the first tax firm I worked with that truly took the time to explain everything to me. Brian and Jean are so knowledgeable, patient, and humble. I love that living in New York City I get to work with a smaller firm that gives you that mom-and-pop vibe. I can finally say I found my “tax person”!

  Brian did my taxes this year. In previous years I did them myself through big box brands - but as my filing became more complicated I needed to find a pro that would provide me more of a white glove service. Brian was referred to me by a friend. He was responsive and professional, and his platform was easy to use. I've already recommended him to all of my friends.

  I highly recommend McAvoy CPA. I used Turbotax for years and finally switched to working with a professional service. Compared to Turbotax, I found that working with McAvoy CPA made the whole process easier. Plus, I greatly appreciated having an informed professional who could answer my questions along the way and I felt confident that I got the best return in the end.   Professional, friendly, and responsive. I’ve been a client for several years, I’ve lived in several different states over the same period of time, and I’ve always been highly satisfied. Jean and Brian are easy to communicate with over email, on the phone, or in the TaxCaddy app, and the app makes the process extremely easy. They also are very helpful with answering questions that come up any time of year. Would definitely recommend.
