  Don't recommend this place to sell your gold they are a ripped off. I was offer way more money at the pawn shop on the mission district. I definitely recommend to check your gold or anything you bring elsewhere before coming here so you can see the difference in offers for your gold/items

  I apologize you were unhappy with the transaction. I see you ended up selling the item to us even though a place in the mission quoted you $33 a few weeks ago. I know we were only able to give $30 but unfortunately the price of gold had changed quite drastically (lower) in the last 2 weeks and I’m sorry that the $3 difference was upsetting. Please know that your never obligated to take our offer. We give our customers many options and as much advice as possible if the quote we offer is not what they expect. Again I apologize for not meeting your expectations!

  Everyone that works here is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I shop at many jewelry stores but i always end up making my purchases here because of their wide selection, fair prices, and great customer service.

  I live two blocks from Maxfred and I’ve never been inside until yesterday. What a surprise! I love David Yurman and they had a beautiful watch that was at least 75% off retail. The condition was excellent. The salesman, Michael was super helpful.

  I have been going here to change my watches' batteries and adjust the links of new watches to make them smaller, for several years now, they are always quick, polite and they know what they are doing. My favorite is Daniel, he is very friendly, knowledgeable and works really quickly. I haven't used their other services yet, but they also buy, sell, fix and clean jewelry.

  As a patron I highly recommend this establishment. The staff is open and honest. Very nice selection of jewelry rotating regularly. The folks here are understanding if accessing the loan aspect of the business as well. Good place.

  I called 5 minutes after opening today and spoke with an employee who handles the online sales and told him I wanted to buy the Rolex he had posted, he said great, he just needed to speak with his manager. I told him, what can i do now so the watch doesnt sell because i wanted to pay for it. He said, i could not pay for it until he spoke with his manager and he would get right back to me, Never got a return call, i called , he said he would get back to me again after he spoke with the owner and he could not sell it until he did. He said he called him numerous times and he was due in. Well, again, i called and I still was unable to buy it because he had not been able to speak with the owner. I asked for the owners info so I could call and he said he would text me the information, guess what? he never did so i had to call again. This time a woman answered and told me the watch was not for sale it was damaged, then she said no actually we sold it. So again I was lied to, never got 1 return call, never had the opportunity to buy it as I was promised , i would have the first opportunity. This company is run by a bunch of liars and I was deceived, the customer service is horrendous, the employees are useless, stay far , far away from this company.
