  Matt helped us to secure our mortgage and be prepared for closing on our house in under a month. Having gone through the home buying process, we recommend that you give yourself more time for the home inspection and closing process in general, but thanks to Matt's efforts we were not worried about our mortgage being ready in time. We weren't well versed in mortgage lingo when we first met with Matt at the start of our house hunting journey, but he was thorough and informative and helped us to understand the different factors of mortgage costs. We even considered some rather atypical multi-unit properties before we decided on our home, and Matt was always quick to provide advice and information that was above and beyond what I imagine that a typical first-time home buyer would ask for. He wasn't able to match the low costs of some of the internet-only mortgage companies that forego face to face service, but when it came time to choose our lender we recognized his exceptional service by bringing our business to him. If you don't mind paying a little extra for knowledgeable and friendly service from a lender who will work diligently to help you meet your deadline, then we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt.

  Dealing with Matt was such an awesome experience. He explained everything when it was requested, he also went above and beyond on making sure my closing was done with pinpoint accuracy. He allowed the process to feel very transparent which was very comforting. He is what the industry sorely needs, a honest, fighting for your side type of professional.   Matt was wonderful throughout the entire mortgage process! We had were selling a house and using the profit as a down payment on our next house, with a few re-negotiations in the process. Plus, we were doing everything on an accelerated time frame. I had lots of questions and Matt patiently answered them all. He also put us in touch with an insurance broker who was a miracle worker. We would not have made it to closing without Matt's help!

  What can I say to truly describe Matt, he is hands down the reason my husband and I were able to get our first house! He legit did everything and then some to ensure we could get a loan for our house. We owe Matt everything. He was personable, hard working, and went above and beyond our expectations!   Matt is just the BEST! I was a first-time home buyer with no experience applying for a mortgage. He took me through the process step-by-step and informed me about the pros and cons of each option. He answered every question I had with patience and was beyond thorough in his explanations. I learned so much from him it made the decision easy. In addition, during challenging COVID times and an unpredictable market - he was willing to re-check and scan for better mortgage rates anytime we asked.   We closed on our house (on time)recently and could not have done it without Matt. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He is highly ethical.   I used Matt Fischman for the initial purchase of my home and again 6 months later for a refinance.
