  Matt Manos Review: As a first-time home buyer, Matt was excellent at explaining the steps of the loan process to me. He was very willing to take the time to thoroughly explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. He presented me with many options for my situation and I ended up closing on an FHA 203K loan which I didn't know anything about before meeting Matt. This is a powerful tool for home buying, and I am extremely grateful to Matt for teaching me all about it. I look forward to working with him and his team in the future as everyone here at Family First Funding has been excellent to work with. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.

  Matt and his team at Family First Funding was phenomenal for my first time home purchase. As a first time home buyer, Matt was always there to answer any of my questions through email, text, or by phone. Matt is excellent at managing expectations and providing realistic feedback. He will answer any questions you have but also give you a prompt, thorough response that outlines both the positives and negatives of a decision. From the initial introduction call to the very end of closing, he made sure that I felt comfortable throughout the process. His response rate is insanely quick and will always get back to you. I could not recommend Matt and his team enough for your home purchase. It was such a smooth process from the lender perspective and it was all thanks to Matt! Thank you again for all your help!

  Matt did a great job walking me through the FHA 203k process for the first time. The process moved forward at a quicker than expected pace despite all the paperwork/nuances involved with this type of loan. Unlike some other lenders he also has an eye on the market, so when rates became volatile, he was able to recommend locking rates during a slight dip (just before they spiked higher a week later). Will definitely use him again and look forward to working with him more.

  Matt and the rest of the team at Family First Funding were extremely helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the entirety of the lending process. No trouble at all reaching anyone on the team and they always responded promptly. I am a first time buyer so I was about unsure throughout the process but Matt and his team helped clear up any confusions or worries. A mortgage lender that I will be recommending to all my friends and family from now. On to the next house hack!

  Matt goes above and beyond as a real estate lender! This past fall I began looking for my first house hack (live-in) real estate investment property. I had already been in contact with a mortgage broker that I planned to use when my real estate agent recommended I connect with Matt. From our first conversation I knew that I needed to work with him. He was extremely knowledgable about the various loan products that were available and helped me craft a winning strategy that led to purchasing a two family property Union City NJ just a few short months later! Matt is very knowledgable about real estate in general. After discussing my goal of purchasing more investment properties in the future he guided me on which loan product to start with to ensure I will be eligible for the lowest downpayment/ interest rate product for my next property purchase. I would highly recommend Matt whether you are a first time homebuyer or an experienced investor!

  Highly recommend! Matt and his team have made buying my investment home process extremely easy. I’ve been working with Matt for a while now. He’s been there since day 1, answering all of my questions (their were ALOT of them)! Not only did he answer everything I asked he went above and beyond to provide me with examples for things I simply had no idea about. I would also like to mention that he is very attentive to his emails and phone I don’t think waited more than an hour for a response. He also helped us choose the best loan option that worked best for us. Highly recommend, you will not regret!

  I contacted Matt not knowing to much on how the process of buying a home was. Matt took the time to break everything down for me to fully understand the process. He was extremely patient, always available, and honest. He set me up with a mortgage loan that he knew was best for me, and I appreciated that. If you are looking for a loan, and need someone who will help you in every aspect, Matt is your go to guy.

  Had a great experience with Matt. I can't stress enough how great Matt's customer service skills have been. He's been personable, accommodating, and helpful for a new first home buyer. There was even a period of time where Matt knowing I was unemployed and not available to purchase a house yet was still answering questions. It shows Matt isn't just here to make a quick buck but he takes pride in his work and wants to make sure his customers are happy, taken care of, and well informed. I have referred people to Matt and will continue to do so because I have had a great experience working with Matt.

  I would highly recommend Matt for your mortgage lending needs. He helped me with my first home purchase, and was extremely helpful.
