Patricia Poland5I went to the Liberty branch looking for some assistance with a financial decision. Stephanie L. assisted me and was beyond helpful with walking me through this process. I have been a customer with Marquette and will continue to be because of people like her. Thank you again, Stephanie for all of your help!

Anthony Darden5Great experience working with the management team at the Liberty Street branch. They made the loan process smooth and helped me more than any other bank in the region. I was not a number to them and customer service was top notch. Do not hesitate to work with Marquette - 5 stars all the way.

Bethany Brady5I needed to increase my line of credit due to the current pandemic. Assistant branch manager, Angie, was extremely helpful and made the process quick and easy. She did a great job keeping me posted as to the current status of the application. She was friendly, courteous and professional when we needed to meet. The overall experience was wonderful.

Kyle Connell3Please consider opening up your lobby here and at other Erie branches for walk-in customers. I've waited up to 45 minutes at times simply to deposit money into an account there using the drive-thru, because the line is wrapped so far around the building that you either can't get out or that it's pointless to go across town to 12th Street where you encounter the exact same thing, and you're stuck waiting. One could drive from here to Edinboro in the time they sit waiting in line to make a 2-minute transaction. I can appreciate the fact that they're doing it out of concern, but almost every other bank in Erie has at least some branches with their lobbies open now, including right across the street on Liberty at Northwest. This has gone on for over a year now. Not everybody has time to sit and wait for a half-hour or longer in a drive-thru to make a deposit or withdrawal that sometimes can't wait until the next day or whenever it's not busy. I'll give Marquette three stars because the tellers there ARE very friendly when it's finally your turn in line.

Rich bretz2Hello, I have had a free checking account with Marquette for several years now. Recently you adapted my account to include a fee of $7 if my account cannot maintain a minimum $100 balance. I understand things change. But realistically you aren't the only ones who are increasing costs. Every single utility has demanded an extra few percent as well as the increased cost of food and other basic necessities. The fact that during an unprecedented time of hardship for most working class people out here, you as a company have decided to capitalize on the little bit of money we may have, essentially penalizing us for being poor or unable to keep that balance, is quite vile and truly disgusting. I will be opening an account with one of your competitors who continue to provide free checking for those of us who NEED it without getting shaken down for loose change. There isn't much by the way. In this day and age it is extremely difficult to live or work without an account. I commend you for being advantageous of your position in our difficult world, I can only hope the rest of the people much like me can realize your intent and find personal banking elsewhere. Thank you.

Michael Trow1This is specifically the Liberty branch. In a word:Incompetent. Nearly every time we visit there's been some issue. We had fraud occur on the account a few months ago and the teller told us we have to close the account. They tell us they can't cash a check or move funds from savings to checking, and every time we drive over to another branch and they get it done. No questions or issues. We live walking distance away and we'll be driving to another branch for any banking needs. It's that bad.
Response from the ownerMichael, we are sorry to read that you have not had positive experiences working with us at this location. We take these concerns seriously, and will be addressing them at once.
