      Not the best loan service around. They will have you jumping through more hoops than a mortgage to get a small personal loan. It’s not quick and easy like other loan services.

      I would recommend Personal Finance. They’ve always been there when we’ve needed them. I’ve read some of the low star comments here & I completely disagree. The employees are amazing & overworked. Even being overworked they are doing everything in their power to stay on top of things. I’m completely amazed at how they are able to stay on top of things to make sure everything is in order. I’ve never had my loan touched besides when we added to it with my permission! My signature had to be accompanied by the change also. It’s been very simple I requested for money then we made a deal on the interest (other details according to my qualifications) & how much to pay & we pay it on time! No issues at all! Any time you borrow money paper work will have to be done. If you don’t want to do this then I would advise you not to borrow money & save till you get what you need. Also, when we borrowed the second time we did have to turn in updated papers. It can be a little extra work but it was nothing against us. They needed to insure that financial we could still pay & nothing had changed. There are a lot to consider when giving first a second loans. There is a process just like any other job. They need to consider Job loss on second loans if possible, how much money is coming in at this time compared to your last loan & if anything has went to collections. All these requirements were more than acceptable & I would require it if someone was borrowing money from me also. As would anyone else. For our first loan it took one day to have everything done. On our second loan it took 3 or 4 days. However at that time of our second loan they were in the process of someone transferring to a different personal finance location & hiring a new employee. Everyone we have talked to there has been very professional. They are always eager & willing to help in anyway possible within their job limits.

      This is my second loan and I paid my first one on time every time with added money to each payment to pay down my balance earlier than its original term, now on the second loan we are facing covid-19 pandemic and them like all my other companies was notified of the impact the coronavirus has put on me, they call every day even if you tell them you already spoke to them and had something in place, I regret ever re loaning with these people and I WILL NEVER DEAL WOTH THEM AGAIN!!!! If they don't stop harassing me then I'll block their calls and turn them into the Better Business Bureau, they are the only ones putting negative remarks on my credit report and I had a great score.

      If you are an Xennieal, (Born during the late ‘70’s) or younger please look into other options such as Avant. Mariner is stuck in the Good Old Days with the Boomers. I hate the endless phone calls.... Ive had two loans with Avant; all completed via the app and have NEVER heard from or had to deal with an actual human being. Plus Avant allows you to customize your pay date every month via an app; Mariner doesn’t offer that flexibility & will start the “psycho girlfriend “ phone calls the day your payment is due.

      If I could write a review with no stars that's where this would fall! We have had a loan through them before and paid it off early on a check they sent us. Now when we're looking to get a small loan to buy my son a car they are trying to make us jump through more hoops than when we bought the house!!! And I know there are things you have to do for a loan but not to return calls and keep adding dumb stuff to the list for verification.... You already ran our credit to say it would go through. I will tell everyone I know not to go there!!!

      Just paid off our loan in the amount of over $1700 in cash about a month ago, bringing us to a $0 balance. Got a bill in the mail yesterday stating that as of 3/10/16 that we still owe the full amount. Of course, they are closed on the weekend, so I cannot call about getting this matter resolved until Monday. Approach with caution. Keep receipts of ALL transactions.
