Nick Gonzalez (Sr Mortgage Banker) and Kimberly McAtamney (Loan Coordinator) were very efficient and helpful in finding mortgages to suit our family immediate and long term financial goals. Their teamwork was beyond approach, precise, well-timed, friendly and effective communication from start to finish. We will always be grateful to this dynamic duo that made life for the Richardson’s much happier and less financially stressful moving forward.   Excellent communication and outstanding service from Coy and Kimberly, absolutely two of the best individuals to work with. They both stayed in contact and kept me up to date with the progress of the refinance. They were both positive and encouraging alone the process. Would love to work with them all over again, and would recommend anyone looking for two of the best people to work with while refinancing a loan. You guys deserve 10 stars.

  Came back to this bank as they did my prior mortgage. This time I was NOT impressed. Will not discuss my bankers name because I don't feel the blame was his/her fault. But the communication between everyone involved in readying the loan was absolutely pitiful. Can't count the number of times each person would as for the same documents. My loan had 7 weeks of preparation which is more than normal and I still didn't know my final closing cost/down payment until 2 hours before closing. My rate was higher than expected and I have perfect payment history on all loans I have. I put a significant amount down and all I received was excuses as to why it was so high. Will be refinancing in the near future as I don't want them to be earning the interest money from me. Needless to say, I will no longer recommend people to this establishment as I did before. Not impressed, one bit. Would not feel comfortable referring someone to them as they would no longer feel my input is important after dealing with them. Update, After to speaking to the branch manager, about a different issue, he explained the cause and how to take care of it. And finding out the mortgage banker that i dealt with, is no longer with the company, makes me feel like its a better, more professional place to do business.

  Thank you for sharing your feedback. Magnolia Bank’s management takes all comments very seriously and reviews them to determine any procedural or operational adjustments are necessary. We regret that you were not satisfied with your experience. After review, we determined the complexity of your specific loan request required more layers of Underwriting than normal in order to meet investor guidelines. In turn this also affected the down payment and pricing options. Considering the unique circumstances of this situation, we were pleased to still complete the process and get you into your new home on time.

  Brandon was on top everything during our entire process. He went above and beyond communicating with all parties involved to make sure we were all up to date. Brandon and Magnolia took what is typically a stress filled event and handled it front to back professionally and made us feel at ease during the entire process. Highly highly recommend.

  Before applying for the loan, we had asked specific questions because we knew our loan wouldn’t be in the same state. Least I could say, communication was lacking, interest rate was high, and the fact that I had to send them the same documents multiple times made me realize they are a very unorganized company. I will not/would not recommend them to anyone as I wouldn’t appreciate someone referring them to me. Read reviews and take them into consideration. Not impressed. 0/10. Ego seems to be a big problem as I have read other reviews from other sites and the responses were not apologetic, but defensive as to what they did was correct. Company doesn’t stand a chance with their actions and “solutions”
