  I had a very smooth and surprisingly stress-free experience refinancing even during this entire COVID19 pandemic. My brother has used First Internet Bank twice to refinance already and recommended Greg Norwood! He was extremely helpful and explained everything in terms that I understood. I would definitely recommend Greg !!! Great customer service skills.

  I had a very pleasant experience with Derek Huffer and the First Internet Bank team. My son referred Derek to us after his experience. Derek is very professional and was very responsive. If I was unable to speak to him directly, he would respond quickly via email or call back timely. I felt Derek truly cared about me as a person and addressed my questions and concerns. Even when I had an issue with my local bank, Derek looked into options to resolve. I will definitely refer Derek to my friends and family!

  I've been a First IB customer since before anyone really knew what Internet banking was (17 years), and I've always loved their customer service. However the mortgage team exceeds even my high expectations. I've been lucky enough to work with Jessica Callahan on two mortgages now, and I can't say enough about her work! In fact, for this most recent refinance, I didn't even comparison shop rates, because I knew First IB would be competitive while also providing the kind of customer service we're all looking for. (As I'm writing this, I'm realizing that my enthusiasm makes me sound like a bot, but...no, I'm just that much of a fan!) Jessica is instantly responsive, organized, and even kind and warm--two personality traits you come to appreciate in daily emails over the course of a refinance. My most recent loan had a few glitches due to some unusual circumstances on my end, and Jessica navigated them with attentiveness and grace, my advocate throughout the whole process. I'd go back to them again in a heartbeat!

  We shopped lenders and found that First Internet Bank could give us a better deal. Max was great at walking us through the steps and keeping in communicate. He checked in along the way to make sure we didn't have any questions and got a great deal that really worked for our specific needs.

  I did my homework when choosing FIB the first time in 2012. Since then, I've done my homework each of the subsequent 6 times we've purchased or refinanced with FIB. What I compared each time were 1) APR, and 2) Closing Costs. In almost all scenarios, FIB was the clear winner in both categories, both when compared against national banks and local mortgage lenders. But perhaps as important, or sometimes more important, than APR and Closing Costs are accuracy and simplicity. The last thing you want is for a real estate transaction with a bunch of dependencies to halt or falter because something was missed. FIB made it SO easy to upload all my docs, communicating with me through both email and phone calls to let me know what was needed next. After 7 mortgage transactions with FIB, I've never experienced a hiccup with them. They're super thorough and even facilitated all the work with the title company to be sure signing and funding was seamless, too.

  This is the third time I have used First Internet Bank - FIB. I’ve done two mortgages and one refi. They consistently hold some of the most competitive mortgage rates and their team is great at answering questions and working through different scenarios to find the best for your situation. They also have a great process to make sure you know all documents required and you get to the closing table as fast as possible. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Ask for either Matt Jarbo or Scott Forster.
