      I have never had a better experience than here. Staff is always courteous, Phil the branch manager has helped me in ways I didn't know were even available to me. I am so glad I decided to walk through the door and choose here. It hasn't been just been a banking experience, it's been much needed help and support.

      Hectic and congested Shopping Center Parking lot. Hard to navigate around the construction to the building the bank the is in. The ease of driving around to the side of the bank was difficult because of the construction to reach the ATM Drive thru. Once the construction is completed, I like the Service and the Staff at this location and would give 5 stars.

      May 5 2020 Gerald Wright 9079 Wild Apple Court Columbia Maryland 21045 Dear Sir or Madam There purpose of this note is to complain about the poor customer service I recieved today regarding depositing a check. I have been a M&T customer for over 41 years. I opened an account with First National Bank on Howard and Madison Baltimore MD in 1979. My wife was a teller there. That Bank changed it name to Allfirst. After a few years the Bank then became M&T Bank Today May 5th 2020 at 12:16 pm. I came to the M&T bank in Columbia on Dobbin Road Office (drive-in window) . I wanted to DEPOSIT $3, 1750. $750.00 in cash and a $2,400.00 US Tresury check. The Tresury check was made out to Gerald and Pearly Wright (my wife). The teller informed me she couldn't make the DEPOSIT because my wife had to be present with ID. I told her she sign the back of the check . The back of the check stated for deposit only. I thought joint IDs were required if the check was cash, Not deposited. I instructed the teller you mean you are not going to DEPOSIT the US Treasury check but I saw no reason why you can not DEPOSIT my $750.00 cash. I informed her I would go home and get my wife. I returned to the M&T Dobbin Road office at 12: 56 with my wife. When I came back with my wife the teller told my wife she couldn't deposit the check because I wasn't present. I was sitting beside her in the car. She apologized because she didn't see me. The teller then told me she could n't deposit the check until I provided a driver license. I need to provide ID to deposit a check. I was just there 40 minutes ago. She doesn't know who I am? The teller then told me she couldn't deposit because she didn't believe the signature on my driver license didn't quite match the signature on the check. She told me my signature on the back of the check needed to match the driver license signature exactly or she was not going to DEPOSIT the check. Another teller came over and told her that was not neccessary. She finally DEPOSIT the check. I found the teller demeanor, tone and rudeness unprofessional. It was like she was relishing adding steps for me to do business with your organization. I am 66 years and been a customer for over 41 years. I was totally unsatisfied with her services I do not know her name but each bank receipt had the code ID 6205. Sincerely

      I went here today to deposit cash into my husbands account and our business account. There were three tellers behind the counter and one customer ahead of me. One teller was helping her while the second teller decided to have a conversation with the customer about her husbands medical issues. This same teller also left a customer sitting in drive thru while deciding to continue having this conversation that was in no way related to banking business. I was left standing there for 15 minutes before the third teller decided to do his job. There is no professionalism, no structure nor do they have Management at this branch, which could explain a lot. I am never doing business at this branch again. They don't even deserve one star, but I had to give it in order to send this post.

      Excellent customer service. I needed a backup checking account, and with the M&T bonus in the mail, I decided to go open one at M & T on Dobbin Road (right next to Chic-fila & Walmart). The wait was about 15 minutes since there were several people ahead of me. During the wait time, the staffs repeatedly reached out to let me know that they will be with me shortly. Signing up was fast and efficient and lasted about 15 minutes. I had previously stopped by the branch on Guildford Rd at Kings Contrivance Village Center, but the staff there was slow and mis-informed so I didn't open an account there. Instead I stopped by this Dobbin branch, and so glad that I did.There was a young gentlemen named Jeff/Jacob, or something, he is probably the manager, who even came to shake my hand, gave me the impression that he is very polite and has excellent customer service.Later on I was helped by Mr. Bennett and he was a pleasure to work with. I am a happy new M & T customer.

      We sat in the drive through for a deposit for 47 minutes. Was absolutely ridiculous. The day after a holiday and they only have what seemed like one new person and one manager there. Day after a holiday you should expect to be busy and be prepared.

      M&T called to ask me to shut down my free checking account after 34 years of banking with them...said I could open a fee-based account instead if I wanted. Then they harassed me two weeks later, because I wasn't moving on it quickly enough. Boo! No way! Capital One 360 fee-free and interest-bearing checking account here I come! M & T doesn't realize that people who aren't treated well tell their friends and family who tell their friends and family who post on social media.......

      Inside is locked. So you would think the drive thru would have more than ONE person working the drive thru...NOPE. One person...20 min wait for 2 lanes
