  David Blackmon from Lumen helped us through our purchase of our home 2 1/2 years ago. He was honest and professional, and made the whole process transparent to us so that we could really choose our best options. Remembering our positive experience we called him with questions on refinancing and he was more then happy to help us find better options then we had considered possible.   Lumen Mortgage is the absolute best mortgage team we have ever done business with. We felt through the entire process that we were working with them as a team for one goal, to get us in the right home at the right price for us. David is so kind, thorough, and professional. He was always extremely quick to respond to any correspondence. He took the time to walk us through all documents and answer any questions. We never felt talked down to or stupid for not understanding the language of their trade. David, Uri, and the Lumen team made buying our home a really positive experience, when it typically is a very intimidating process.   David was fantastic to work with. What started out to be a pretty normal purchase, turned into a more complicated process. David kept us in the loop every step of the way. Always felt David truly cared about closing the deal for our family. Most importantly, he was extremely responsive when I sent him emails or texts - usually within minutes. Great customer service - you never felt you were being pushed through a corporate process. He was present and helpful every step of the way, from application to closing. Will definitely be using Lumen for my next purchase!

  David Blackmon provides excellent customer service. He's very personable and took time to go through the numbers and options with me. He also was exceptionally responsive, turning around the loan paperwork incredibly fast when we decided to close early. Even my realtor was surprised by how quickly it came together!   My experience with David and his team at Lumen Mortgage could not have been better or gone smoother. Not only were the fees much lower than the broker I had originally planned to work with but the level of service was phenomenal. My real estate agent and the title company we worked with both praised Lumen for the thorough and efficient work they did.   David B. and his team at Lumen Mortgage provide incredible service. David worked closely with me throughout the entire process, arming me with the proper information so I understood what to expect and could feel confident in my decisions. Really impressed by his expertise. Can't thank him enough for supporting on this and being such a pleasure to work with. As a first-time home buyer, I had a lot of questions about the process, who to work with, how to evaluate financing options, and really just how to make sense of all the info and guides available online. The other lenders or mortgage brokers I reached out to when starting my search just sent over PDFs of their fact sheets and available loan products. David, on the other hand, shared a set of examples which we later walked through in detail so I could get sharper on what my budget was and better understand the impact of different rates and down payment amounts. He was extremely thorough in answering my questions about various scenarios and what it means for my personal situation. His ongoing support and prompt communication made moving along from pre-approval to finalizing the transaction feel super seamless. Honestly, choosing to work with David was probably the best decision I made early on.
