  It was just in time for the holidays! I finally refinanced my vehicle, it was fast, easy, and a relief to finally obtain a much lower car payment!   Besides almost all of the staff being nice, they used to be caring. After having 2 car loans, trusting that they were a bank that would want to take care of their customers... this was going to be my 3rd actual car loan. And I've taken out loans way bigger than this and they saw it. They approved me for an auto loan, said they needed this, I go there and made sure that's all the information they needed, got that. Then when the time came, they became stricter and declined it, and didn't want to give me a loan although all the evidence were given to them and proof of value was way higher than what the vehicle was being purchased for. I'm tired of this credit union treating me like a criminal and not a valued customer. They refuse to take my great history and want to make it worse than a commercial bank. I can get the same products, and better treatment at a big bank. Unfortunately, I'm moving my money somewhere else.

  I don’t know where to begin. I feel like a helpless consumer. Long story short. Husband and I were approved for a car loan. We were informed the loan was ready for funding. Due to the hours the credit union is available, I took off Friday to meet the seller. My husband and I drove from LA, sellers from Glendora... only to be told that we needed to get the car smoged and the loan was not ready! I had a confirmation email!!! The branch manager was very condescending and offered no customer service. We were all in shock of her horrible attitude. We ended up going to our main bank (Citi), made a withdrawal and just paid cash for the car! SMH...

  I walked in to finalize an application yesterday and Bertha was the most wonderful. Thank you for the stupendous service and patience. I had trouble with phone revisions but she helped with her own computer instead. Very knowledgeable. Beautiful service ❤

  To be a Credit Union they are Horrible!!!! You trying to pay off a Loan balance and they won't take money unless is a Cash or Cashiers check... and they give you the wrong information They are Horrible

  Poor attitude and customer service. Lack of common sense. They want utility bill to verify address but what if your landlord pays for your utilities? They will not accept apartment lease as proof. *facepalm

  I HAD READ NUMEROUS REVIEWS SOME WERE NEGATIVE!!! SO I WAS A BIT SKEPTICAL!!! ABOUT JOINING LOS ANGELES FEDERAL CREDIT UNION!!! I HAD TOLD MY NEIGHBOR/FRIEND WHO HAD RECOMMENDED THAT I JOIN THE CREDIT UNION HE SAID DON'T WORRY YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! AND I WAS'NT I HAD SIGNED UP FOR A CHECKING AND SAVINGS ACCOUNT AND BERTHA HAD ME IN AND OUT IN LESS THAN THIRTY MINUTES WITH NOTHING LESS THAN PROFESSIONALISM AND A GREAT ATTITUDE!!! THANKS!!!
