Mert Kiymaz5Awesome people to deal with. They have locked in my rate for refinance in the same day. Although the closing was lengthy (I was expecting that since it is a condo) their team was on top of everything, great communication throughout the whole process, great response for questions. Just closed a few days ago and I have already recommended them to 3 friends.
Response from the ownerThank you so much for the great review and for telling your friends! We'll be sure to help them out with low rates and no lender fees too :)

Matt2My refinance process was fairly smooth until the day of closing when I was told I would have to pay an additional hidden fee that had not been disclosed until that time. When I replied to the loan officer saying that I did not want to pay this fee - his replies were condescending, patronizing, and not at all helpful. I did not end up closing, and I used a different lender. I'm sure you could find another lender with better communication and fewer hidden fees.
Response from the ownerThe borrower caused lock extension fees when he did not respond to our requests for documents for an extended period of time. The lock was going to expire and required an extension in order to close. It was not a hidden fee, it was completely compliant and included on the closing disclosure.

Steven m1I’ve bought 12 homes and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Had to submit through their balky secure portal three and four times needed and secure documents. Got a list of needed docs, spent hours assembling scanning and uploading only to get told send again the stuff I just sent. Just when I thought I sent everything they needed more lists of demands came. There must have been 25 or 30 documents some submitted 4 times. But one of the worst requests was for a credit card authorization for $310 for a condo questionnaire. I’ve never heard of that so upon questioning I was told the loan won’t get processed without it. Talk about strong-arm... This is my biggest gripe: FOUR MONTHS and four days of this I had enough and canceled my application. Oddly enough the $310 charge to my credit card NEVER appeared on my Truth in Lending Statement. Seemed pretty shady to me. Save yourself some aggravation and go elsewhere like I did. Three weeks and 2 days from first phone call to funding I had my loan from a MUCH better company.
Response from the ownerWhile we appreciate the feedback, it is unfortunate for us and others reading this review that we cannot discuss the specifics around this particular scenario as this is a public forum. What we can say is there was information you provided us that required additional documentation and support. Any other lender would have had the same requirements assuming you provided them with the same information. The Loan Estimate (this replaced the Truth in Lending Statement several years ago) did accurately illustrate a condo questionnaire fee. If you review the loan estimate you signed, you will see the fee correctly placed on page 2, section under "Services You Cannot Shop For" labeled as, "Condo Questionnaire." This is a pass through fee that is collected by the lender and passed through to your condo's management company. You are welcome to reach out to your HOA or property management company to see if they will refund you the fee. While the additional information and not understanding the purpose of the condo questionnaire may be frustrating, it was all accurate, necessary and compliant. We are happy you received the mortgage you wanted however find it very unfortunate your frustration with the requirements resulted in a negative review as our team worked very hard to try and make this work for you.

Brian Pollard5It was a very good experience working with Charles at Loan Flight. We did encounter a few hiccups but ended up closing on our refi with no major issues. Would use them again.
Response from the ownerThanks so much for your feedback and for choosing LoanFlight Lending for your mortgage!

Prakash Rai1The rate that they advertise/present is not real. I was presented a rate on weekend and ask me to sign the disclosure and submit documents. Comes Monday and the Mr. loan officer says the market was closed on weekend and the current rate went up. I don't understand why they are selling the loan that they can not honor. Be aware of this company. -Prakash

Taylor Smith5We used LoanFlight for our first home getting an FHA Loan. They got us an awesome rate at that time and were aggressive and quick to ensure no closing disruptions. More importantly though, they educated us on what we were doing and what we should strive for moving forward. That education allowed us to return to them less than four years later to refinance. Through the refinance process, they reduced our Interest Rate by .95% and got rid of our PMI. A savings in over $400 on our minimum payment. They also worked out our refinance to only need to bring $300 Cash to Close!!!! We refinanced during COVID-19, their website and awesome support staff allowed us to do everything without leaving the home. Allen and team are amazing.
Response from the ownerThanks Taylor, we're excited we were able to help you refi and get rid of that PMI!! Hopefully those monthly savings are going toward something awesome!

Bryan Ligsay5This was a great company to work with. They set expectations and maintained these expectations the entire time. Special shout out to Al, who was available by phone, text and email seemingly at my convenience. Every individual that I worked with from consult to closure showed professionalism and attention to detail - I never felt out of the loop or lost and always knew what was expected. Closing was a breeze and on time - there were no surprises. I would recommend LoanFlight to anyone who asked. Thanks again.
Response from the ownerHey Bryan, we're excited to hear you loved the process and to hear we've earned your recommendation!

Bub BRISCOE1Terrible experience. Would give zero stars if possible. Delays cost lock expiration. Worst customer service experience ever. You will not reach any upper level management at Loan Flight by phone to get answers and clarification for delays. Embarrassing. Loan Flight blamed their Investors for failure to buy mortgage due to over valuation. In subsequent months valuations in nearby sub-divisions have been raised by 20k multiple times month after month due to soaring home prices and commodities increases. Loan Flight will CHERRY PICK incentive deals for their investors costing YOU the consumer time, effort and money. Based on my experience it should be a warning to any consumer using Loan Flight to steer clear and use a reputable financial lender. Not some teaser rate mouse trap frontage Refi Co selling off mortgages to clueless investors who make feeble attempts to RE-APPRAISE THE PROPERTY TO LOWER the VALUATIONS on the property to ridiculously low levels to satisfy their Investors to trap you into HIGH PMI costs for extended periods of time. (Approx 7 yrs). Loan Flight cost me thousands of dollars in losses for failure to refinance. In the end We Refi’d with a national Bank and had a very pleasurable experience. What ever Loan Flights response is to this review be skeptical and remember I tried to warn you. Attorney pending review. Michael Hinkle Jason Neuffer VP of Operations Yosmel Romero James Cochran Cesar Andujar All above earning the above review!
Response from the ownerLoanFlight strictly follows Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines for approving mortgage loans. The appraisal was determined by both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to have over-valued the subject property. Any Underwriter reviewing the file, assuming they are familiar with underwriting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac insured loans, would have come to the same conclusion. Another appraisal was completed, at our cost, which determined the value of the property was over-valued in the previous appraisal. We were able to proceed with the loan, however the borrower wished to cancel. No lock extension fees were charged to the borrower for any delays.

Korinne Babel5We initially were going to refinance our home but after seeing the market we decided to sell and purchase a new home. Though the process was a bit longer because we sold our home in the middle, the LoanFlight crew was there throughout the process and was available to answer questions and provide us support! We would definitely recommend them!
Response from the ownerHey Korinne, we hope you are enjoying that new home of yours! Congrats!!
