  Horrible experience. They said I was pre-approved for a refinance. They said it was no problem to refi my house and they knew there was a time critivsl situation. All the way they promised me it was approved. They waited until the last day when there was no possible way to get another loan and denied the loan. With no time left to sell the house, I lost my home. My house had 200,000+ equity. This was during all the foreclosure fraud that was going on in the early 2000's. They helped the crooks steal my home from me. Stay away from them! Far away from them. They are liars and cheaters. Don't believe a word they say. It was probably their people that came in and bought it at pennies on the dollar. It was my retirement home.

  Amazing people, smooth process, responsive and they were always there for us. Period. Thanks, Sheldon and Franc!! We cannot thank Sheldon and Franc and the rest of the team at LoanDepot enough for the incredible support and smooth process. Having been let down terribly by another lender, they sprung into action, keeping us informed throughout the process, and turned a devastating experience into a magical one. Sheldon made us believe and have hope again, while Franc was so wonderful - extremely attentive and responsive to a whole bunch of questions (even on weekends and after hours), and working diligently on our behalf to ensure that we met deadlines. What a team. We couldn’t be happier. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! ... for making our dream come true! Because of our experience, we’ve been recommending loanDepot to our family and friends.

  Update 2: spoke to Raymond. I guess he just wanted me to verbalize and get upset all over again. No resolution. Not suprised. UPDATE: They replied to my Google review that they take these complaints very seriously. I emailed them as they requested over a week ago and they still have not replied. Yeah, these guys are REALLY concerned! Loandepot RUINED our home buying experience and we will never forget how disappointing and stressful working with them was! Working with LoanDepot was a NIGHTMARE. What should have been an exciting time for us was tarnished by lack of communication, disrespect and unnecessary stress. Brenda R asked for a letter. A letter she could have requested 6 weeks prior, when I mentioned the account, remember this is the END of the deal, we are down to the wire. And she wants a letter that takes 10 days to process! I dealt with Chase bank for over an hour between ordering the letter and following through. When I finally get it, she said I don't need it now. REALLY?? That is seriously messed up. I guess YOUR time is more valuable than mine! Frank must have stated five times "this is the last bit of info the underwriters will need before submitting to USDA". A 45 day escrow went over 60. Frank had me in tears to the point I had to hand the phone to my husband, and he stated Frank was LAUGHING! Sheldon H asked me to FORGE a signature. What other illegal things do you all do?? The unprofessionalism with in LoanDepot is ASTOUNDING. I see they are #5 in the country, I assume there are only five in existence.
