  This is my second year in a row preparing my taxes at this liberty tax location at 57 East Main Street in Torrington and dealing with the same friendly staff. Kristin (the owner) has made preparing my taxes the past 2 years so easygoing and enjoyable. I highly recommend using liberty tax in torrington on East Main st for all your tax needs very friendly and very professional. I will continue to file my taxes with Kristin for as many years that Kristin and her liberty tax business is here. Such a friendly caring woman who truly cares about making sure your tax refund is prepared correctly for your biggest possible refund . Love this place🙏🙏🙏 👏 👏 👏

  I just filed my taxes at Liberty Tax in Torrington CT for the 6th year in a row and as always I had an incredible experience! Kristin (the owner) was as always a pleasure! Even though its a new tax season and very busy they got me in very quick and was very thorough! I will continue going here as long as they’re still there!

  They are the best! Kristin is so good at explaining the process and making sure it’s the best it can be. She even takes time to go over changes that might occur for the following year that might change your tax bracket etc. 5 stars for sure! Stress free tax season and ours in not joke...3 kids in college, own a business...etc.

  I drive from Adams Ma to Torrington Ct. For Kristin and Ed to take care of me for my taxes each year.(that's hours away in drive time) They are so down to earth and knowledgeable!   Our former tax preparer retired at the end of altax season last year. When I decided to retire in October my husband and I had no idea where to get our taxes done. Our son suggested liberty in zTorrington so we went there. WOW!! WE were so glad we did. Totally professional, friendly and knowledgable Really nice , friendly and not in a rush. Took time to explain everything and be sure all formswere filed before we left. Would definately recommend them to all

  The most accommodating place! The owner, Kristen, is so personable and has been doing taxes for so long, that she makes the miserable experience of taxes almost comfortable. They respond timely, are experienced, knowledgeable, and have easy parking. A highly recommendable business.

  They don't have good customer service at all. They charge so much for a Standard form 1040 or 1040a. They also charge you 49.95 for direct deposit and they aren't suppose to charge you for direct deposit at all that is illegal. They also don't explain what the paper works has in it and what it's all about they hand you the paper work. They worry about getting paid and not help any customer that comes in there to do taxes. Also if you tell them that you are trying to find out how much your taxes are gonna cost they go ahead and just file them.

  We charge by risk and complexity. It does not matter how much a taxpayer earns. Our EZ return federal and state is $110-$120. Using 3rd party bank products cost extra and are charged by the bank.
