They even went above and beyond when they helped with an issue, no fault of theirs, along the way. The loan process was a bit intimidating for us, but someone was always there to answer our questions and walk us through anything we didn't understand.   I can now see why there is only one good review on Google for Leslie and her team for a reason. Do not work with this woman or her affiliates! They will treat you like you are a nuisance and the lack of communication is astounding. Any communication you do receive is non transparent and misleading. This is extremely frustrating for someone who is a first time home buyer and is just trying to understand the process, nonetheless obtain a loan. The excuse I heard repeatedly is that they had a lot of other loans to deal with and that this was just the process. I get if you’re busy, but that doesn’t excuse rude responses and ignoring phone calls or emails. Furthermore, when reaching out to other lenders with SWBC in order to move our loan to another officer with better reviews, Leslie proceeded to badmouth me to them and suggested I work with a different company altogether. This was more than unprofessional, it was downright petty. There are so many other SWBC lenders, don’t put yourself through this just because they are located in Kerrville. I wish I hadn’t, it would’ve saved me a lot of time and frustration.
