marc lux1I called Langley to have a loan paid off. Morgan Fix the "team lead" and her associates hung up the phone on me two different times (not sure this is Langley's customer service policy?) I also left several messages for Alanda Suber the supervisor of the Title department and never once got a returned phone call or email. As a company where you invest your money these people might be the rudest people when it comes to customer service. It is a companies job to have trained employees to handle customers with respect and courtesy regardless of the conversation. I would never invest another dollar into this financial institution. If your looking for the best credit union with outstanding customer service, please take your money to Virginia Credit Union. Its one of the best upcoming credit unions in the state of Virginia. Superior customer service and amazing Loan rates!

Jessica Fausto1HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They updated their mobile app and did not notify any of their customers that it was about to happen or the procedures for logging back on. Tried to log on this morning, noticed the new interface. I log in, it lets me go through the process of validating and changing my password only for the app to not let me see any of my account info. When I logout, close the app. Then reopen and try to log in it won’t let me. And now my account is locked and the customer service can’t unlock it. I have to wait for someone to call me in a business day. NOT OKAY.

Annette Tollett1Can't get online today. Called and after waiting 12 minutes, couldn't answer the million questions they asked about the accounts because all the information is online. Was going to take another 20 to 30 minutes to talk to a supervisor.

Giles Gilmore1Apllied for car loan online to compare rates to what dealers already approved me for. Did not get response. Called and they said it was never sent to approval/denial process and could take 3 or 4 business days. I asked if I did something wrong and was told no, they just like to do things fast.

Dan Kraft5Twice now I've been amazed by this bank. 1rst time, Miss Bernadette went above and beyond and showed me a trick to rolling up change on top of helping me count all 90 something dollars worth. 2nd time Miss Kendall suggested me to get a loan at their max 18% interest instead of cashing a loan check at 33.8%! Who doesn't love to save money! Tysm for the amazing service Langley! Banking here has been one of the best choices I've made!

Tu Hamlin5I'm usually satisfied with the service here, everyone was great, helpful and friendly. However, today is not my good luck. I had some important paperwork need to be notarized and run to the court within the short time. I have to take some hours off of work, get it notarized here and run to the court downtown Newport News, then go to work near there. But the lady who took care of my papers was so "great", she wrote everything else but her signature - the most important thing!!! I did not check since I was so trustful and believed that they know what they are doing. She was an old lady so I thought she is in this job long time. And when I gave it to the clerk at the court, she said it was not notarized and wouldn't accept my papers. I can't run back to this branch to have that lady's signature since I have to go to work. I have to push this papers back to Monday, which is 3 days later than my schedule. I was so mad and frustrated. But well, what can I do, a part of that is my fault for the truth I put on them. SO ... if you are reading this comment, please check all of your papers to make sure you get everything sign and fill out since they may not really know what they are doing!!! Update: the branch manager has reached out and apologized and offered a way to make thing right. I love their customer service. I didn't think they actually read the comments here. And I has found out too, that I left comment under wrong branch, the one I went to was down to Denbigh. However, still, the Langley bank has one of the best service I have ever received. I have tried BOA, Suntrust and Well Fargo, and finally decided to stick with Langley, all my accounts have moved here and I referred both my mom and husband to open accounts with this bank. Until now, I still feel good for this decision. Thank you for your great service.

Ill Nyx5Had to get my taxes done here this year a bit pricey, but it was worth it Deborah was great !!Professional and a down to earth kind spirit. It was refreshing to talk with her, she took her time to explain and make sure I understood everything and if I needed any thing call her. I would give this place more stars if I could satisfied customer. This location is huge clean and at the front desk when you enter the women there are polite and eager to help getting you going in the right direction

elke m2It is impossible to navigate the phone system to get a live agent to speak with. I was trying to be polite and cancel an appt. The system is geared to only help without anybody actually answering the phone.
