Spivey3Update: A customer service rep called me back after 3 hours, rather than 10 minutes, and she was very courteous and tried several times to resolve the issue with logging into my account, but it wouldn't work after several attempts. I'm upgrading my 1-star review to 3 stars because she did try to help, but considering I have tried and tried and tried and tried to get into my account online and even their rep couldn't help, I'm not going above 3 stars at this time. My mortgage loan was sold to this company after I had made only one payment. I have tried and tried to reach them about problems setting up my account online. They are difficult to reach. You can't get help online. I called and had to listen to message after message after message, to then be told the wait time would be more than an hour. I tried a different day, and again I had to listen to message after message after message, to be told I could leave my number and get a call back within 10 minutes. It's been two hours and no callback. I am busy, too, but am stuck at home waiting for a call because I don't want to try to deal with the issue while I'm driving. I hope my loan gets sold again.

Jerome parra1I will be refiancing my home loan. I just found out this so called Loan company do not honor veteran's exemptions! Unacceptable. The customer service (if you can through to someone) is the worst. I tried calling all day and even tried the call me back method, nothing.

Elisabeth Pate1This company is horrible -nothing but scammers! There been nothing but problems since day 1-and it’s only been 5 months. They added a flood insurance we didn’t need and have done multiple increases on my escrow ! After 2 months of going back and forth they took away the flood insurance but I still had to pay for the time I was under coverage. Their app rarely works and the customer service is a nightmare to work with, whenever we try to call in to resolve these issues they never know what’s going on. Please beware of this company. Every month is some type of issue and now the latest increase is due to “escrow analysis”, keep in mind this is the second escrow Analysis they performed within the last 3 months resulting in a increase each time. I didn’t even want them as my mortgage company they bought out my prior loan and it’s been a nightmare ever since. COMPLETE JOKE!

Heidi Harrell1I sold my house in August of 2019. I have all documents from the closing attorney, including proof of loan payoff through wire transfer. As of today, July 15 of 2020, they are continuing to report my mortgage account as being paid late every single month. I cannot buy a new house at the moment because I have to prove that I’m not making late payments on the mortgage that I don’t have on the house that I don’t own! I have filed disputes and will be consulting an attorney.

T K1I have had MANY mortgages and MANY loan service companies over the years and this one is by far the WORST. With all other lenders I've had, payment was not considered late until after the 15th of the month and they charged NO fee for paying online. With this company, they charge you $5.00 each time you pay online after the 4th of the month AND, they don't count weekends AND payment must be made by 7 pm PST to count for that day. So, you better make your payment by the 1st of the month, Mon. - Fri. before 7:00 pm or they charge you to make it online. Ridiculous! They make me want to refi just to get my loan away from them.

Claudio S. Molina1My husband and I are first time buyers. Dealing with this loan servicing company has been a nightmare, which I can see based on the reviews, most people feel the same. Recently, our property insurance policy has changed. I followed the steps of uploading the declaration page and submitting. I called the next day because i know how things go, just to make sure it uploaded and everything was clear in the system. The lady I spoke to says she can't see the image. So i asked, well, I see the image and its clear what do I need to do to ensure that you see it clearly. She said to fax it. So we faxed it. I called back to speak to someone in insurance and ask ok so now its being processed, when will the payment change be reflected. I get the classic "i dont know.." Which is almost every time I call.. I have to be transferred to someone else who also doesn't know or is the wrong department to then eventually getting hung up on. NOW, I called day 3, and cannot connect to someone in customer service. It seems like the phone line is not working. So, I got online and saw they have an office in Merrick. Since I can't get anything resolved over the phone or get a decent answer i'm going to have to go in person. i also want to note, that we had submitted a request to cancel our PMI. We have made well over 12 on time payments. We have made improvements on the house.. hello we live in miami, the value of homes in our area well over 400K.. we have the equity.. well lakeview says they can't remove the PMI bc our loan to value isn't there.. what a lie! now I have to pay for an appraisal that I dont need.. BC we already had one that says the value has gone up significantly, from 330K to 415K..so sick of this company.. ***If the issue with the PMI isn't resolved with their appraisal, I will be notifying the CFPB***

Darrell L. Page1As I can see by the majority of reviews I'm another completely dissatisfied client. Lakeview already has my loan . They contacted me and persuaded me to go with them instead of my Bank who had already cleared me to go forward. It took them 2 1/2 months before I found out on my on that they denied me. They said it was an unacceptable appraisal. I previously had my real estate agent (18 yrs exp.) do a market analysis and I paid a very reputable company to do an appraisal (20 yrs exp.) on my on to see if the value of my home was above the cut line to refinance. They both came back at $280,00.00 . I needed $260,000.00 There appraisal (Regina Kestler) state certified (25 yrs exp.) for Lakeview $270,000.00 . 63 yrs of combined experience cant be wrong!! They gave me no detailed explanation. They dragged this process out so long that now i cant get the rate that my very own bank was going to give me. Very unprofessional and i will continue to warn others through multiple media sources. All I wanted was for them to reimburse my appraisal fee and they have not returned my call.

Amanda Gaskins1I was contacted by Lakeview Loans to refinance my VA Loan. Beside the fact they are very pushy I proceeded with the paperwork. The day it came to signing with the notary we realized that they said we had to bring 17,000 dollars to close a refi. This company is a fraud!! When I cancelled the signing, this morning they emailed and called blowing up my phone. Saying there was a mistake made in the paperwork. And they corrected it. Pushing me to reschedule to sign tonight. HOW CAN WE TRUST A COMPANY THAT CAN'T EVEN DO CALCULATIONS CORRECTLY. I will be contacting the BBB of Indiana to file a fraud charge. Beware of this company!! If I could rate this a -5 I would.

Charles Trenchard1I am not pleased with the way Lakeview handled my son's account. I help him because he is a disabled veteran. We refinanced his home in December and Lakeview showed their appreciation for us by failing to pay his property tax and insurance for which they had the money to in escrow. The insurance lapsed and I paid the premium out of my own pocket I also paid the property tax. Then Lakeview said we didn't have insurance and were going place their own insurance on the house. I think Lakeview is both capricious and apathetic. I regret dealing with them and I do not recommend them.
