  This branch is as great as it gets! It maybe small but the employee team is absolutely the best. They all make you feel so welcome almost like family. So pleasant, so friendly, so helpful, so accommodating. The service one receives here is actually above and beyond what one expects. Its ALWAYS a pleasure to stop by this branch.

  I walked into the bank so flustered because I was trying to deposit a insurance payout and was having issues with the process. I was on a lunch break for a job I had just landed. This was the closest branch but since it was in the middle of a building, my gps kept rerouting me. Once I parked and asked multiple people at the hospital if I was in the right place, I only had 20 mins left on my break. I made it to the branch and quickly explained to the two ladies there what I needed. The ladies went the extra mile to make a phone call to the insurance place for verification, which would have essentially been another hurdle for me. They were two of the kindest employees I’ve ever encountered and I’ve been banking with LMCU for almost 10 years! Once I was able to deposit the check, they sent me on my way with well wishes. About a month later after another coincidentally long day, I received a handwritten card in the mail from Karen wishing me well at my new job. It made my ENTIRE day. You ladies are absolutely wonderful. Thank you!

  hands down the worst location ever when dealing with lmcu. is it in the jefferson building? i wouldn’t know because google & their website has ZERO information saying so. Also, all the doors were locked so I was screwed no matter what. 0/10. Never coming back

COVID-19 requires members to enter through our main entrance of the hospital before they can visit our branch located within the interior of the hospital. Additionally, we have an LMCU branch not far from this location at 342 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI, that does not require visitors to go through the COVID-19 screening.   I love this place! My wife and I do all our banking at LMCU and I love the service we get. I particularly like the staff at this location, they are so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend anyone to use LMCU for all their banking needs, and of all the branches the one at Jefferson Street SE is my favorite.

  This is by FAR my FAVORITE branch. I live in Hudsonville and I still drive downtown to go to this branch. The people working are INCREDIBLE. It feels like I am going to see family/friends. They take the timer to learn all about me, my family and what going on in my life. They go ABOVE and BEYOND with customer service.

  The staff here are so friendly! They call me by name as soon as they see me! I love that I can stop by on my break because they are right in the hospital!

  Not open on weekends. I've been overdrafted 2X AFTER I asked them to take that feature OFF of my account. Going to close my account. Tired of getting robbed without a gun and mask. What Americans are not asking is how are banks and other financial institutions allowed to charge $30 for overdrafting? Where/who are the regulating entities that approved/allowed this scam in our country.
