Vanpelt Shorty1I went to this bank and got into debt with them I got a check worth 2,207.46 I said I need to pay my debt of a old account she said OK took my check didn't give me no response and then said are bank with send u a check I ask what are u talking about I ask to speak to a bank Mgr and of course the bank Mgr was busy ask for Corp number didn't get that either if I were u people reading this review I would stay away of all lake citybanks

Caleb Wadkins1They are extremely rude and unprofessional. They hold any non LCB checks deposited for 5 days if they are deposited within the first 30 days. They claim this to be standard practice but I've never encountered this before nor did they make me aware of this. Banking with them has hurt me financially and caused me to accrue late fees by holding MY money that they then had the audacity to charge me an OD fee for because I made purchases with money I thought was available to me. I keep track of my spending and know precisely how much is available to me at any given time. However one can't account for a greedy bank restricting your access to your own money. I opened an account to help pay bills with ease and it was the worst mistake of my life. Don't bank with LCB they will punish you for it.

Nm1I avoid this location as much as I can. I already haven’t been impressed with lake city bank since I first opened my account at 14 almost ten years ago. Since then it’s been hidden fees, jumping through hoops to access my money and less than helpful service. I will be closing my account here in the near future.

Dustin Miller2There are a lot of dedicated employees at this banking institution, that I always found pleasant to do business with and that offered friendly, personal service. Unfortunately, there are some very unprofessional individuals as well, such as the manager of the CPS department, when dealing with potential cases of fraud with the debit card. Never have I been spoke to in such a condescending, demeaning manner, by someone that's supposed to be a professional in their field. As a bank customer in good standing, no one should be spoke to as I was. Customer service skills are an asset an individual brings to an organization, and this individual shows none of that. Ultimately, she will drive away other customers, if they have the displeasure of dealing with her.

joseyalukevlog1Terrible! Tried to shut down my account and the supervisor was in a crappy mood and kept snapping at me. Over all terrible not happy with them and glad I'm changing banks. Oh yeah they also didn't let me know until I had a 70 dollar overdraft fee, that I can't pay it online.

Eric S2Pack a lunch. One person working counter and some lady walking around providing zero help although she worked there. Stood there 10 minutes and line didn’t move. Gave up and went to drive thru.
