Jada Larsen5So I went in today to open a new checking and savings account. My teller was nice, accommodating and great to get along with! Grady made sure I was set with everything I wanted out of my accounts, and answered all of my questions I had.

Art Limacher1On lunch break, I swung through the drive through to exchange a few 20's for a couple crispy 100 dollar bills for my daughter's graduation card. Because I don't have an account there, they wouldn't even do the exchange for me??!!?? RIDICULOUS.... because they were not making money off me they wouldn't give me the time of day! Great customer service guys! Guess where I WON'T be banking......
Response from the ownerArt, it is at the branch's discretion on how they assess risk; especially for anyone we don't have a banking relationship with. This can include changing bills or even cashing an endorsed check. In today's world, risk assessment like this is not an uncommon practice. I understand it's frustrating, but the best way to mitigate this in the future is to consider opening an account with Key. If you're interested, please stop by a branch or go to key.com to open. Antenna Wilde1Ugh. I call for info on my mortgage, and they don't have that information, another bank in another state has it and they can't access it, so they give me a # to call. I wait on hold 20 minutes, finally get through and they say "Oh, that's another department, let me transfer you." Then I wait on hold another 20 minutes. Then they answer and have to transfer me to another department, so I wait for another 15 minutes. Large banks like this are a plague in the country, I'm going to see about moving my mortgage to a smaller local bank.
