KeyBank Reviews

shop expresso1I have had my money get stuck in the atm 2 times now over $1000 and instead of making it an importance to get you your money, they sit around and have you wait x amount of time to get your money you may need for bills/food/etc… if it’s your fault my money is pretty much held from me why am I being penalized by having to wait. Why is there no cash advance? Or staff on hand to fix the issue? KeyBank is the reason I don’t trust atm deposits anymore. The machines can jam at any moment. Don’t deposit any money you’ll need available right away. It’s not promised you’ll have it accessible after putting money in the machine
Response from the ownerHello, I'll send a note to have this ATM serviced. If you've not already done so, please call us at 1-800-539-2968 to file a dispute for the missing deposit. It can take up to 10 business days for the research and posting of the missing amount. We understand the urgency to get this resolved and always aim to complete this as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. ^CS

Suzie Lee5I am sadly leaving.Key Bank after banking there for 20+ years. This is due to a move to another state and not related to any negative experience there. I have received friendly, efficient service there the entire time I banked with them. Thank you Key Bank! I will miss the people there and I agree that Leslie does a great job. Again, thank you.

Kyle Fidler1If I could give them 0 stars I would. All I want is a notary signature. This is second time I have been here today. Waited 20 min the first time and sitting for over 10 mins so far this time watching bankers talk to each other and on the phone. It’s no wonder they keep closing key banks. I will be closing all 3 of my accounts after today also. Don’t waste your time or effort banking here.
Response from the ownerHi Kyle, This certainly isn't the type of service we strive to provide our clients and I'm sorry that you had this experience. I will forward this info to our Branch Experience Team for their review. ^LH

Drew Young3I have banked with key for 10 years now. Seems as though keycorp has been in a pretty major downturn over the last few years closing branches all over the state. This is the last one left in kokomo so unfortunately my only choice of branches. As a result the branch is always super busy so expect a wait time standing in line. One time I waited in like over 20 minutes just to see a teller. Time is money and they are wasting it. This branch is clean and kept for the most part but the cons outweigh the pros. I was disappointed with the closing of the other branches because the same thing happened in the previous county I use to live in and I am having to deal with the same issue now with what's left here. I use to sware by them and suggest to my friends to bank with key but over the last few years that perspective has changed and I have considered banking some place else. They charged me a $6 fee to have them print a two page bank statement of my checking account... They use to send these to me in the mail for free every month... But "go paperless" and just so happen to need a print out and get hit with a fee for it? Not cool at all. Seems like they try to squeeze every last extra cent out of people. It didn't use to be that way. I'll be happy the day that I pay off all my debts to them so I can seek a better banking option.
Response from the ownerWe're sorry to hear about the closing of the branch you typically visit but we're happy the branch you visit is providing you with good service. If there is ever anything you need, just let us know. ^ JJ

Kristen Smith1Trying to help out my parents who are in their 80s and handicapped do their banking and also have an account there but I can’t do anything at this bank to help them unless I have an account there.
Response from the ownerKristen, I’m sorry you are having this experience. We can only speak to an account owner, talk to your parents to see if they are willing to add you on to their accounts as an authorized account owner. If you have additional questions, please email us at [email protected] with your parents full account name, including your name, contact phone number and zip code. Thank you. ^JL
