I am a former employee of TMPL Massapequa and the neglect the Kennedy Lewis group showed to this gym was absolutely astonishing. There was a blatant disregard for the health, safety and well being time and time again for both the members and employees of this gym. Broken machines, AC breaking during the summer (has been an issue for years that has been neglected and left for the next person to deal with), power being shut off, leaks in ceilings, the list goes on. I could say a lot more but this is where I’ll end it

Kennedy Lewis bought the company TMPL Fitness and took over all their assets and one of those was the gym I was employed at with the name TMPL Fitness in Massapequa, Long Island, New York. The property originally belonged to TMPL but then switched hands when Kennedy Lewis took over. With that being said, the location was never really successful with gyms before so when it closed it wasn't a surprise BUT Kennedy Lewis only gave employees of the company 6 DAYS NOTICE! It is not only unprofessional but terrible for those that relied on paychecks week to week. There was no severance pay or any help financially. Don't recommend working with these people, they only care about money and not those they affect.

Owned the TMPL fitness gym in Massapequa and absolutely didn’t care about the employees or guests. Machines constantly broken and take forever to fix. Closed permanently on 5 days notice. Awful and unprofessional.

Confused how anyone can support a business that will publicly not support or even show slight respect to their employees, hopefully they figure themselves out and can better themselves moving forward. But for now, shame on just about every one of you.
