  I would highly recommend Kelly and her team they did an amazing job of thinking ahead and keeping us informed along the way. Getting a loan can be intimidating and invasive. I have literally walked away from other brokers in the past because of their rude manner. I was so happy I was recommended to Kelly at First United.   Kelly and her team did an amazing job walking me through the process as my wife and I are first time home buyers. Her closing costs were one of the cheapest I saw in the market and very competitive rates. Highly recommend you to allow them to earn your business.

  This is the fourth time that we have used Kelly for our mortgages (3 new homes and 1 refinance). The first three purchases were the absolute best. This time was an absolute disaster. We had terrible communication on multiple fronts with her team. We barely spoke to Kelly throughout the whole process and her team is generally only responsive via email. And when then do communicate, it is very unclear. We complained to Kelly numerous times about her team’s poor communication skills during our mortgage process. At our final closing, she nor her team were available to answer our questions in a timely manner. I spent 30 minutes on hold before I was finally able to speak to someone who had to run down the hall to finally contact her team. Kelly does lots of mortgages every day. I am sure that she is one of the most productive people in the industry. The first three times we bought or refinanced were great experiences. This time was the complete opposite. I think that we had become just a “number” in the eyes of her team. Buying a home is generally the most expensive purchase you will every make in your lifetime. You want someone who has the experience to guide you through this daunting process. That used to be Kelly. It is no longer her. Find someone who you trust and will be there for you when you need it most.

  I cannot say enough about the the staff at First United - including Rick Phillips and Jennifer Rodriguez - for helping us to purchase our dream home! Rick and Jennifer went above and beyond and helped us to navigate this process seamlessly and worry-free even in the midst of the COVID environment. Not only did Rick get us a fantastic rate that beat the market, he walked us through every step and touched base with us several times to keep us on track and answer our questions and concerns. And when it came to application/documentation support and follow-up Jennifer was on point! She was also extremely helpful with the coordination of the second lender/lien application. This is the type of personalized banker experience that is a difference maker when it comes to successfully purchasing or refinancing a home!
