Tinker Bell1The worst experience leasing a car. My husband leased an Optima from Michael Rozenberg 3 years ago, so he wanted to be loyal and go back and lease 2 cars from him BIG MISTAKE! I turned in my Nissan lease for a Sportage my husband got another Kia. I hate this car. I wasnt offered to test drive it. I wasnt made aware if what the car had and didnt have. And now i discover i can't even charge my phone in this car. Michael left out allot of information and made us think he gave us such a good deal. Then they jerked us with our bank account, said they were going to pay off our lease, they sent the check late so the payments still came out of our account. Nobody at Karp made sure the check arrived or that Kia and Nissan were notified if the payoff. I leased 2 SUVS from Nissan, and they took care of everything. No problems. If they weren't going to take care of everything, at least tell me what i was responsible for. Then when we called Michael to tell him, he said it wasn't his problem. I'll never go back they're, except maybe to complain. Horrible business ethics. Even worse customer service.

The Karp family has operated the dealership (s) for the past 60 plus years and I am proud to have been part of it for the past 25 years. In regard to the comments below I believe it is important to add some clarity. First and foremost Michael Rosenberg is one our most valued employees, he has worked for us for over 10 years and last year he was The Karp Employee of The Year. Anyone reading this that has done business with Michael I would welcome and appreciate your comments and or opinion. As stated Mike had sold the family an Optima 3 years ago and the sales and service departments were professional and thorough enough to deserve another chance. Upon receiving the chance Mike once again assisted the husband and once again that vehicle has been fine. In regard to the second vehicle: What I heard from the customer was that Michael’s assistance was absolutely horrible. He did not let her see the vehicle, explain any of the options, enter it, or even test drive the vehicle that she DECIDED to lease and now hates. I of course stated that would be extremely unusual behavior by Michael and or ANY of our customers, that scenario just doesn’t happen here. When I stated just simply let me know whatever is not functioning properly I promise you we will resolve it – she replied everything is working fine I just don’t want this vehicle. This conversation led to a series of attempts on our part to assist that were rejected. Once a leased vehicle is registered the dealership cannot simply exchange it, the lease payments are still required to be made. We offered to assist with expense of moving into a replacement vehicle and that assistance was declined. That combined with the customers own admission that there is nothing specifically wrong with the vehicle there was nothing else to be done at the dealer level. I contacted Kia Corporate and explained the situation and they promised to contact the customer. In fairness, as of now the customer has not heard from Kia but based on my conversations, they are reviewing all possibilities of assistance. jeaniac15This was our first time leasing a car and Frankie made the process absolutely painless. He explained everything clearly and answered all of our questions. We came back to Karp and Frankie because we had bought our last Kia Soul there and were very happy with the service. We highly recommend both the dealership and Frankie Brus.

JoAnn DeMeo5I had always felt that having a root canal procedure was preferable to buying or leasing a vehicle because of hard-sell, intimidating salespeople. That was until recently when my husband and I walked into Karp Kia and met Jonathan Hernandez. This was our 4th visit to an automobile dealership in two days and we were running out of steam and patience. Upon entering Karp Kia, thinking we were interested in test driving a Sportage, we were greeted by Jonathan. After only a few minutes it became apparent that the Sportage was not the vehicle for us for a few reasons. Jonathan urged us to look at the Soul. At first I was hesitate to consider this vehicle because of the boxy styling, but Jonathan urged me to sit in it, and after taking it for a test drive, we were sold. This was the vehicle we wanted for a number of reasons, not the least being the excellent visibility it provided. Jonathan is professional and knowledgeable, he listened to me and directed me to the best vehicle with the right optional features for my particular needs. No hard sell. He just presented the features and benefits and worked with us to make sure we got everything we wanted and needed and made the whole process painless. And Mark, the Finance Manager, was unlike any other auto dealership finance man we have encountered as well. A pleasure to work with. We only have very positive feelings about Karp Kia. The showroom is impeccably clean, comfortable and hospitable, but it’s the staff that will make me want to refer everyone I know to Karp Kia and to Jonathan Hernandez.

Brian M5I love this place! Thank you to mark taub! He is now the only one I will go to for my new car needs. My wife and I got the new sportage with the sport appearance package and what a wonderful job from entry to exit he did. Wouldn’t you know he sat down and took our terrible experience at another Kia dealership and embraced us with honesty and truthfulness! Before he sent us out with the car he did everything from setting up our Bluetooth to showing us the best sound settings in it! He said if he could or couldn’t do pricing options and restored my faith in dealerships! We love our car and love KARP Kia. Go in and ask for mark! I will say this I looked at reviews and this place couldn’t be rated high enough in my eyes. My first new car is awesome again thanks to you guys and girls!

Luis Cardona5Fast check in of my car, I was warmly greeted upon entering office to complete check in, which was for voluntary recall. After brief wait I was informed of mechanic's recommendations and service was started. The staff at Karp Kia are courteous and eager to please their customers. Would definitely recommend Karp Kia to other Kia owners for service.

Last Name First Name5A safety recall and broken drivers side heated seat brought me in to Karp Kia service for my 2012 Kia Sorento. Ellen Karp and her team were amazing! They set aside the heating element for me and addressed my issues really fast. Everything was covered under warranty. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Karp Kia for sales and service.
