  Working with John was painless and easy. He got us our first home at an amazing interest and he took care of everything for us which made our experience that much better. After 3 years in our home, John was able to get us an even lower interest rate. Refinancing with John was a no brainer and I would recommend his services to anyone.

  Let me preface this by saying, I work in the hospitality industry so I typically don't write bad reviews or bad remarks for anyone, because I understand it. With that being said, I don't even know where to begin to write this review. To say I am unhappy would be a massive understatement. I am embarrassed, upset, disappointed, and all around angry with John and Movement Mortgage. My significant other and I used John to purchase a new build home, we signed our contract in April. In the span of 7+ months, I talked to John maybe twice on the phone. He spoke to my significant other maybe 10 times on the phone. I have never worked with a company that believes texting is an acceptable form of professional communication. Our original closing date did get moved up to a week earlier, but we then had to reschedule our closing twice because John didn't get the work done. Even though he had 7+ months to get it figured out. When the builder rescheduled for a week earlier, he had well over a month to make the adjustments accordingly. They weren't done. He didn't even tell us we weren't going to be closing until 20 minutes before the scheduled closing time... AND WE HAD TO CALL HIM BECAUSE OUR BUILDER DIDN'T HAVE THE NECESSARY INFORMATION. He texted my Significant Other the morning of rescheduled closing #1 and said the appraisal had just come through the night before and he would try to get it done for that day. We heard nothing from him all day so we assumed we were all good to go, until our builder called us asking for a piece of paperwork she didn't have and she couldn't get ahold of John (she said he was supposed to call her back 3 hours prior). Come to find out, John didn't even have the paperwork to do yet because it was still with the underwriter.. All of this was found out on our way to closing. Not only is John's communication poor but he told our builder and myself two different reasons on why we weren't closing that day. Two different excuses, and two different stories for one problem, so I am not sure who he lied too. We did finally get to close the next day and no one could believe the problems we had to deal with and how poor this service was. The builder also couldn't believe he told us two different reasons as to why we couldn't close. We also didn't receive the closing disclosure until hours before our 2nd rescheduled closing, something that we were told "by law" is supposed to be given to us two days before closing... And don't even get me started on his assistant, she's worse.

  Everything we were told by John was everything that he did. It was quick and painless and was done via telephone except for the actual signing which we did outside . We reduced our house payment by $230 and got rid of our mortgage insurance. Thanks for all your help and walking us through the process! Like he said, "You will never have to do this again." Great Job!

  I have nothing but good things to say about John! He gave us the best interest rate out of a few other lenders, banks, and credit unions. John made it very easy to close on our house. He kept good communication with the escrow company and our real estate agents. He helped us close extremely fast and we heard nothing but great things about John from our agents.   We had a wonderful experience refinancing our home. John gave us quotes and followed thru with everything he told us up front. We received a great interest rate and reduced our loan from 27 years to 15 years. We were also able to get rid of the $120/month PMI we were paying and now we do not have to pay the PMI. The whole process was quick and painless. We did everything from home except for the final signing of paperwork which we did from our car in the parking lot. I would definitely recommend John and Movement Mortgage to anyone even thinking about refinancing!

  John was great to work with. I told him what I was looking for as a target rate for refinance and he coached me how to get it. We worked closely while the rates bounced and locked me in right where I wanted to be. I would definitely use him again.
