  I went there today on my lunch break to cash my check and I swear I was Racial Profiled. I signed my check in the car just as I pulled up so I wouldn't have to wait long if there was a line. I walked in gave the guy my check and my ID even asked if he needed the whole check stub. He said he wouldn't need all that but then asked me why was the check signed already. I told him I just signed it and it has to be signed to be cashed. He gave me my check and ID back and told me because I didn't sign it in front of him that he couldn't cash it. I have been working for over 10 years and I Never heard of this before. I bet if I wasn't an African American Woman it wouldn't have been a problem.

  This goes for the last review.im a 37 white guy and Jimmy g's didn't cash my check that was signed before I went in also, bit neither but did the 12 other places I tried after. Check cashing places are worried you online banked your check already before you entered.so it has nothing to do with color of skin as it does they think EVERYONE is out to scam them

  Once you establish some trust and credibility, they're awesome. The negative reviews are from people who "tried" to cash a check. But if the check lines up with ID, your treated like gold. Prices are perfect.

  Everyone working here is so friendly and helpful. No matter what the question, they take time to answer. Never a long wait, fees are fair, bill paying fast and easy. I've been using them for years and would never consider going anywhere else. Very professional and down to earth. Good people. I highly recommend Jimmy G's.

  Said they could not cash my check because no one was answering the publicly listed phone #, which he wrote down for me. Problem is the number he gave me is not the publicly listed number and I verified that personally, but he refuses to tell me where he got the number he was trying to call and will not listen, or try to check again when I tell him he is wrong. He must have looked up the wrong name but refuses to acknowledge that. I called directory assistance and looked up the business online and no where is the number he has listed for that business.

  Arrogant lunatic at the counter. Asking me why had I not cashed a check that was issued 2 weeks ago? Never heard of. I thought I was supposed to cash my check when I feel like?
