Celine2Requested trans service as part of normal 30k maintenance , timing belt and water pump and all external belts replaced. For the first week after getting car back trans shifted erratically, when I brought it up to owner he said "well I never had a problem before when performing service" couple weeks later the "new" belts that were installed were squealing. "well take a look at it" he says. Got car back, belts still squealing. Fixed it my self. Now after 10k since service, valve cover gasket is leaking, which must be replaced when doing timing belt on mazda twin cam. I was told that the part was out of warranty Well a gasket does not generally go bad, its either over torqued or under torqued. Again another service issue, so the owners words of wisdom were, "apparently you don't like our service so go somewhere else" I guess my point is this. If your going to pay good money to have your car serviced, it would be wise to choose a shop that will stand by their work, not one that just takes your money and runs to the bank. . **update** decided to replace valve cover gasket, first step, remove bolts, didn't prove to be too difficult because they were HAND tight. They didn't even tighten the valve cover down. WOW, quality service.

Kevin Hurlburt5My 2001 Chevy Silverado started making a noise from the engine. I googled/youtubed the symptoms and everything said it would be pretty expensive. Had the truck towed to Jay's to have it looked at. Turns out it was a minor repair and they had me back on the road in a few hours. I had already told them what I thought the problem was...any other place would have went with what I said and charged me 1000+ to fix it and I would haven't known any better. These guys are 100% honest which is rare for an auto repair place. I will keep going to them for all my vehicle maintenance and repairs from now on. Positively recommend this place to ANYONE FOR ANY REPAIR!!! Thanks Jay's Auto!

Matana Ron5I recently called AAA for service and had Steve come to the rescue. I want to mention he went above and beyond with service letting me know the cause of my problem. A simple fix with key fab battery he said. Thank you again! Great work and quick response time!

Edgar Soto1This place was an absolute disaster the owner was screaming and yelling very inappropriate things the whole time ( not to me but to employees )! made it uncomfortable and I feel like I got overcharged for sure I went to another shop and asked for a quote on the work that jays auto performed and it was 450$ CHEAPER at the the other garage! I will not bring my car back here!

Great work and great prices. Jay (the owner) remembered me from the last time I came and always makes it a point to chat. Definitely recommend this place!

Mar Mar1Reply to you rude message: Your drivers are dangerous and people need to know that. Why should somebody support your business when your drivers behave that way. Also, he wasn't an emergency vehicle just doing his job. He had no emergency light on, it was a regular pick up truck. I've seen it multiple times, I don't know if it's the same driver, but they're always either speeding, cutting people off, or just driving recklessly and not obeying all traffic laws. Going to an emergency or not, there's no tow truck emergency that somebody needs to drive like that. We live locally and see it all the time and felt enough was enough. We thought maybe leaving a review would finally change the reckless behavior but instead appears to have incited a passive-aggressive reply. Original review: Constantly seeing your silver pickup around town driving aggressively or not obeying traffic laws. Constantly.

He was on time, professional, and put us at ease. Rico made a very difficult experience tolerable. Thank you Rico.

Kyla Yingling1Worst experience by far. Jay promised a friends car would be done before Christmas. Upon finally getting the car, after the date promised, there were many flaws. They were asked to swap the motor and after a drive around the block we discovered that the spark plugs were drastically incorrect. After changing those, we hoped we solved the problem but that wasn't it. The car is smoking extremely out of the exhaust and there was a stripped bolt, which we had to tap and die ourselves. We also found out there was barely any oil so we decided to do an oil change. The oil was very black and the filter was messed up. We went to Jays Auto in efforts to fix the car but after our encounter with Jay we will never be going there again. Jay immediately lost it and started to swear and yell at us, 3 TEENAGERS, as if we were the source of the problem. I would go so far to say it was verbal abuse. There were customers in the room and surely it was captured on the store cameras. Needless to say, don't go to Jays Auto unless you would like to end up fixing their mistakes. If I could give this place zero stars, without a doubt I would.

Jenna Gaudette1They let the car sit in the lot for 3 weeks and kept telling us it would be ready by next Friday. They never even touched the car we had to tow it to a different place so I have no idea how good their actual repairs are
