  I have been a member for many years. I have financed most of our home purchases with the Credit Union. My most recent mortgage transaction was handled professionally and quickly. The staff and loan officers at Intrepid are the best and I would highly recommend anyone wanting to finance a home that you give them an opportunity to assist you.

  We financed a new boat with them last year. Due to Covid we didn't receive our boat till the end of the season last fall. We stored the boat away in our shop. I apparently didn't get my insurance set up in time thinking I had time due to it being stored away. We got a policy set up through Safeco for around $900 for the year. We received a letter from Intrepid stating that they had purchased a policy for us which was around $4000 for the year since I didn't get the insurance information submitted on time and it would be added to our loan. I called them about it and the gal would absolutely not work with us, and said their insurance amount would be added to our monthly payment for the next year in the amount of $350 extra per month even though I had a policy set up with Safeco. If this isn't gouging I dont know what is. I will be refinancing this loan with someone else if this is how they operate.

  Imagine being charged for an automated system to move YOUR OWN money from savings to checking to avoid an overdraft. How about not getting informed about it, despite having the app, allowing it to continue for several days racking up multiple little $5 charges. These people are thieves. The app also doesn't stay updated, so never trust the amount it displays. It's a pathetic excuse for "mobile banking". Read basically anyone else's review. Intrepid will steal from you, your card will consistently be deactivated, and customer service is generally on their second day. Don't waste your time.

  Intrepid Credit Union has a great team of people serving a great member base. Highly recommend using them and their services

  I left money in that credit union and when I checked back years later, they had gradually taken it little by little each month. I was shocked because I trusted them and they took my money when my back was turned. Sickening. DO NOT TRUST this credit union. STAY AWAY.

  We appreciate your feedback. Your account may have had a monthly fee associated with it. We often waive fees when accounts are used each month, such as, debit card swipes. If the account was inactive, those fees wouldn't have been waived. Our team would be happy to assist you in finding a solution for your account that better fits your needs.

  Terrible company, money not backed up, never let you spend your own money. Also, always a hassle dealing with them, had 3-4K+ taken from my account and never given back, don’t ever bank here, horrid security privacy and OPSEC! When I was 6 I could’ve done better then them especially being insured etc. Bunk service. Would give 0 stars if I could!

  NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. THEY LIKE YOU TO RIP YOU OFF BY THE PHINE APP AND OVERDRAFT FEES AND BLAME OTHER BUSINESSES. BEEN BANKING WITH THEM FOR A FEW YEARS AND REFUSED TO CASH CHECK FOR THE FIRST TIME. ALWAYS NEW STAFF!

  This Bank had horrible customer service, we’ve been charged money for no reason. We will be closing our account. We are much happier at valley bank.

  Over the course of several months I had a couple different issues that I called customer service about. It was difficult to get ahold of anyone, at times I would only be able to get a voicemail to request a call back-this happened for days at a time. When I did get ahold of a person I had to request a call back from a supervisor, or request someone get back to me after doing research. On all 3 separate occasions-I never got a call back. This was months ago, so maybe they're still working on it. Both my husband's account, and my account got fraudulent charges on them within a month of each other. Different accounts, different cards. . . strange coincidence. It took them a month to resolve on of the charges and return the money and the overdraft fee, and it was only done after we had to call them again and remind them. Conclusion-we're switching banks.
