Erica Bambenek2Drove 20 miles to get here to use the coin counting machine and was told I couldn’t use it anymore because apparently the bank gets charged for every time the machine gets used even though I am a member. When I went to cash it in to get five rolls of coins (which is their limit even though other branches don’t have a limit.) due to being a regular I was told they wouldn’t be giving me any more rolls of coins after this visit. The teller didn’t really explain why except telling me that there was a coin shortage. Offered for me to buy a box of coins but didn’t really explain how many were in a box.

Matt1Went in for shared branching and teller was disrespectful and had an attitude. Didn’t seem like she even wanted to help me. So I left and went to Wells Fargo.

Frosty Elf1Walked in the Hugo Branch, with a $20 Bill, all I wanted was 4 $5 bills. The teller first told me that she needed my ID to look up my account, I said I don't have account, but my wife & kids do. The teller said I can't help you. WOW.... GREAT SERVICE, It makes me never want to bank here ever,

The whole process from start to finish was excellent and I highly recommend contacting Ideal for this and any banking service. Wendy specifically was great to work with, very polite and attentive. Natalie Traylor1DON’T EVER USE IDEAL. ABSOLUTE WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD. Customer service is a joke, you sit on hold forever because you cant reach a branch directly. NO ONE has a clue what they’re doing. Every month I send a check for my car payment and they don’t cash them for MONTHS at a time. I’ve confronted them about it and their actual response was that their mailbox is off-site and that they don’t check it for a few WEEKS at a time. My car payments have been deemed late and unpaid for 3 MONTHS!!!! I live out of state (8 hours away) for school, so when I was back in the Twin Cities for the holidays I sat down with a banker. The banker switched my payments to automatic payments to come out of the checking account at my real bank, assuring me that this problem will never happen again. She also promised me that she would go out to the mailbox THAT DAY to find my most recent check and void it since the automatic payments have started. No surprise, I was LIED to once again. They cashed the check and took the automatic payment leaving me with a HUGE negative balance and overdraft fee. Not to mention, that check was sent on 11/29/2019 and it took them OVER A MONTH TO CASH IT! I AM FUMING!! This place is an absolute JOKE!! My car has less than a year left of payments and I’m considering refinancing the loan to my actual bank just so I don’t have to deal with Ideal any longer. Save yourself the major headache and go somewhere else for your banking needs. I’d give it 0 stars if google would let me! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Michael Sanchez3They seemed to be chronically understaffed. Sort of in the same fashion as the Hugo post office is. For example, if you happen show up at the same time as as a few other customers, then plan on waiting because there's usually only one person available to help. Otherwise, their staff is both friendly and helpful while their products are on par with any other credit union.

Matthew Wahl1So I understand this is covid times. And everybody wants to use drive through. I knew when I arrived at 11:45 am on a Saturday that I may not get helped, especially when there was a long line of cars. But I sat in line for 40 mins finally get my turn at the window, you let me sit for five mins, then come on the screen and tell me that you wrote down all the cars and noon and are only helping those and are closed. While helping people that got in line after me, dont lie, and just say we closed and your done for the day. I knew that could happen. Just don't lie it's covid we get it.

Vince Klosner1I tried paying my loan I have with Connexus Credit Union, which I have paid there before. The lobby wasn't open so I had to do it through the drive thru. The clerk told me they couldn't find my account and pretty much told me to leave. I was going to open account there today. Not happening. Plenty of other credit unions.
