  They don't know what they are doing. At first i was approved and then when i decided to move on forward with the purchase of my home i had already paid for the inspection of the home and the earnest money and they said oh sorry you are not approved. Im sorry what ??? Then they proceed to send an employment verification to a dental office mind you i put on the application that the office no longer existed cause the doctor who owned the office at the time was deceased. They really dont know what they are doing. I will never reccomend Guild mortgage. They are clueless and don't help. Oh and then Hugo wants to say he's basically doing me a favor for accepting my loan because my loan was very low compared to all the other ones he has. My realtor recommended me to PRIME LENDING and they are great! I got my home after Hugo and guild mortgage denied me the loan

  I don't know why he has a 1 star. Hugo and his team are top notch. He's thorough and understanding. Extremely professional and explains all possible options. There are other lenders that try to force a deal through but Hugo truly cares about his clients. It's not about getting a deal. It's about the clients experience and making the process easy and informative. Every client is a priority. Call him and you will understand.

  Bait and switch shop. Do not get a mortgage through Guild Mortgage. They will screw you over all while smiling to your face. had a 750 credit score and was told i qualify for the bells and whistles only to have the bells and whistles removed not even a week prior to closing leaving me to find another lender. When i did find another lender, Jeffery Dynak at Guild Mortgage called me furious and yelled, then went on to malign his competitors. Being a first time home buyer i unfortunately trusted him and listened to his devious council. I am now paying 2k to refinance (#rd month owning this home) and have found a much better deal (even after shelling out another 2 K to fix Jeffery's greedy actions). Jamie Hodge was his accomplice and when i would get bitter with Jeffery he would switch me over to Jamie. These are not good folks. Maybe to your face but not good ethics. They promised me my mortgage would stay with Guild for the the 30 yrs duration. 1 month after my closing i was advised that Penny Mac now owns my mortgage. Nothing, i mean absolutely nothing Guild mortgage told me would happened happened. They lied from day 1 to current. If you truly truly hate someone and they trust you enough to take mortgage advise. Send them over to Guild Mortgage where the jackals and vultures roam free to do a terrible and dirty job. OK Google! how can i give a more negative review?

  Hugo is the man. This guy who gave1 star is just guy posting to anyone and everyone's page. This should be removed. It has nothing to do with Mr. Ortiz.

  One of the Guild agents is harassing my family from the phone number he uses for business purposes.
