  The branch is a disaster, but I think the main problem is HSBC. Everything is bad. Never had such a horrible experience as I've been having the last couple of years. 30 years in business, and nothing compares to the HSBC of today.

  I'm surprised to see negative ratings. I've been banking with HSBC for more than 20 years. When I go to the New Hyde Park branch the tellers and the customer service people at the desks are very helpful. As far as Naveen and Daveen I love them. I'll wait for one of them just because they've always given outstanding service and attention.

  Be prepared. When you come to the HSBC at Lake Success be prepared to present several forms of identification. Be prepared to have your identity questioned by Naveen. Be prepared to have your integrity acosted by Praveen. Aside from the atms this isn't a branch to do quick business, particularly if this is your first time going. I would advise you save yourself the embarassment of dealing with HSBC at Lake Success' staff and keep to your home branch.

  Such a disaster to bank with HSBC. The customer service is impossible!!! Every time that I call they put on hold for more than 15 minutes. I asked them to send me a new credit card four times already and I didn't receive one yet. The bankers don't give any diligent attention. Disgusting!!! Never ever again.

  You should just stay away from HSBC in general if you have personal bank account. Their focus is on business accounts and not personal banking anymore. That is one of the reasons most of the branch offices don't open on Saturday. Not just this branch office, HSBC is just not a US oriented bank. I would stay away.
