  We recently changed our business banking over to Howard and could not be happier with the decision. They are communicative, professional, and extremely responsive. The attention that is given to their customers is above and beyond. I never wait for an answer from them, and in small business, that is imperative for how fast we have to be with our daily operation. They have supported us through the Paycheck Protection Program; from the application process, to filing, and all the questions along the way. The level of professionalism is unmatched. To feel like we are a partner in business, and not just an account on a screen, makes the relationship that much more important.

  I have been disappointed with Howard bank several times in the last two years. I have found the tellers to be discourteous and more involved in personal conversations than attending to their job and the needs of their customers. They moved to a location which was incapable of having a drive through option. Not good during a pandemic. The final straw came today when I was told that they charge a fee to write out checks from a maturing CD if that check is not to me. They are charging ME to give ME back my OWN money. It certainly makes one wonder the financial stability of a bank. Needless to say, I will have no further dealings with Howard bank.

  While we have always appreciated the service and support provided by the Howard team, the recent COVID-19 crisis truly showed how professional, responsive and caring their team is. With dozens of forms, agreements and reports to work through, Burke helped us through the entire process and was able to secure a PPP loan for us - in the first round! We've been working very closely with Bart, Burke and Danielle for years and couldn't be happier.
