Blake Jensen1I wish I could give this company a 0 star review. This company is awful at communication and customer service. When my wife and I bought our house, we had to send in a check because it was too late to sign up for the automatic billing pay feature, which was going to take place the following month. The check was dated for July 1st and we sent the check in late June. We called and spoke to an associate and told them to not cash the check until July, should it come early. We were ensured that it would not be cashed until July. Come to find out they cashed it first chance they got. Because of this, we got over drafted and had to scramble to find money to cover other bills. We also incurred over draft fees. When I called to inquire as to why they cashed it they said that it was there policy to cash checks immediately. They also said there were no notes in our file dealing with waiting to cash the check. We were told our case would be escalated to a supervisor and we have never been contacted since. It has been months since this happened and I have been emailing them constantly in order to get to the bottom of this. It is the same run around. They say they'll escalate it and it just falls flat. I just want what is rightfully mine. I want them to hold themselves accountable and to fix their communication issues so that others don't run into these issues in the future. It seems they care more about money than they do about customers and keeping their word. At this point I will not be recommending this company and will be researching new companies with which to do real estate business with. The only good thing about this company is Yolanda Foster. She is amazing, it's just unfortunate she works for such a horrible company that doesn't seem to care about the customer.

Lance Foster5Yolanda was wonderful. She is my mother so naturally I couldn't say enough good things about her. But just because your loan officer is family doesn't mean you get financed. Wouldn't that be nice. From the time of originating the loan to the time it closed only took a month. I was kept in the loop through the whole process and any issues were handle painlessly.

Evan markham5Josh Rapaport and his team were by far and away the best customer service i've ever received in my entire life. He is so focused on getting your loan closed quickly i can't even wrap my head around it. He would respond to me every single time i e-mailed him within minutes. He's a workhorse and overall great guy. 5 stars all around.

Mitch Bergstrom5My wife and I worked with Yolanda Foster for the loan on our new home. She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make us understand the whole process. She is very attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her for anyone in need!

Griffin S2After receiving a Government job transfer last summer to a remote area, I spent the majority of my spare time for several months collecting every Prospect broker requested financial form, letter, document -- in spite of my 720-740 credit rating -- without my broker making the slightest "whimper" that there would be any challenges in obtaining my new home loan! Then, TWO DAYS BEFORE CLOSING my broker in North County San Diego starts stammering, "uh, uh, uh, there may be a problem closing your loan...." It turns out that after their broker "sold" me on the fact that Prospect using their own financing has an easier time getting clients their loan, their w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l finance department could not complete my loan because my remote home was on 35 acres! Gee, Prospect, sorry someone tried to get a loan outside of your no-brainer, normal, neat, little "cookie-cutter" home parameters! Anyway, I wrote CEO Paul Wylie a letter about my experience with his company -- no reply -- and I spoke several months later with the La Jolla District Manager (as I was working with one of their offices for my desired home in Boulevard, CA), who first said he would return my wasted $400 appraisal fee only to hear a month later after not receiving my check "uh, uh, uh, we can't give you your money back." With all of the mortgage firms out there, don't make the mistake I made by using Prospect Mortgage to obtain a home loan! P.S. the firm they recommended to perform the pre-purchase home inspection was awful too!

Antonio Francis1I cannot get anyone to call me or e-mail me back. Bank rings busy? I have never heard of a lenders phone ringing busy. I am a contractor who finished a home in May 2014 under the banks 203k program. All inspections passed, paperwork filled out, and homeowner back in the home. I have still to receive the final payment from the bank who sent an e-mail saying that it was mailed out early June. Im here nearing the end of July and have no option but to file legally for the amount due.

Nicholas Gauger2My experience in doing a home loan with Prospect Mortgage, specifically Richar Diaz was horrible. The demeanor in which he spoke was degarding near the ending as he llied about fess that were going to be charged. He does not have kosher selling habits in regards to being customer focused. He definately buttered my wife and I up to start the process with them; however, at closing he signifcantly changed all the fee's I would not recomment using the servinces of Richard Diaz or Prospect Mortgage.

Kenneth Cohen4Jocelyn DeGuzman and Maria Portilla went above and beyond to process and close the loan on time. They spent considerable time explaining the process and working through issues that might arise. Calls and emails were returned promptly.

Derick Jacobson5I couldn't be happier working with Josh Rappaport. He is the most responsive person of all time. I felt like every single time i sent an e-mail he would respond within seconds.

Lourie Mcwilliams5She kept a level head and was human with us when things went crazy (and this was the craziest transaction I have worked on in 10 years!).
