This Sabi is a theft and charlatan. He give fake approvals. I want to get a group a people to do a Class Action Lawsuit. He is doing this around the country. We need to stop him before he create another victim. We cannot let him keep robbing people lets take him down. He robbed me for close to 4k.

Beware of this company! Sabi Approved my loan prior to appraisal and not only charged me a $950.00 application fee but also After approval he charged me $1,645.00 for an approved loan and then told me that he couldn’t close the loan due to it being a rural property. He knew the property address etc and it’s obvious that this guy knows exactly what he’s doing. He would not offer a refund when he couldn’t finish it even though the 1% I paid was paid with the loan being approved. It should have been returned when he could not close the loan. This is thievery and should not be allowed!

Unfortunately, we did not read the reviews before we got involved with Sabi Varon and his "Team" at Highland Financial. First they made us think they were lenders when actually they are brokers. We only found out there was an ACTUAL lender only after months of them losing documents emaiked to them when just weeks before the closing. They would say the underwriter needs this,or thst, some items I had sent 4 times! It seems they, Highland, at best is very disorganized! I could tell you MUCH more but these people have exhausted us. Just beware as THEY ARE NOT LENDERS and are very expensive brokers. Utilize ANY other ACTUAL lender!!!!

Please stay away from this company. I worked with Sabi and Amanda on refinancing a property. First they required a huge payment as underwriting fee. Then they changed the terms and the interest rate without notice. I should gave up and accept the lost long time ago. I continued working on the loan with them. At the beginning they informed me the loan should be done in 2-3 weeks, now we are 5 months in the process. Finally we made it to closing. Before closing I asked to review all the documents. They avoided providing that till the day of closing. At the closing I notice a lot of junk fees and even when they kept the interest rate the same (not the same as I was quoted before I started the process) they added additional 3 points to my loan. Please use any other bank then this one. My lawyer will be filling a lawsuit for predatory lending. And thats how they said NO to my potential 10-15 loans per year.

My father was working on a project for Sabi Varon and my dad placed full trust in him to pay for the services completed. Sabi was malicious in the way he used the legal system to dupe my father out of over $50K. Sabi claims to be an honorable and faithful person but beware, Sabi will turn his back on you in an instant to gain on his personal wealth. Greed can be so evil - BE CAREFUL doing any business with this man!

This company is a fraud and took over $3500 from me and my family without closing on a single loan. I have 4 kids and could not afford to be taken advantage of!!! My family struggled for months after they took our money. During this time, we really needed to refinance our house or sell it, as our daughter was in the hospital with Lupus and became very sick and lost kidney function and was put on dialysis. They said I was approved for $120K, but they knew we needed $245k to refinance our house. Thank God, we sold our house but the money they stole will never be recovered. I filed 3 FBI Cyber fraud reports. I attached emails exchanged and Sabi saying he will not refund my 1% deposit that was required at closing and the application fees for applications I ended up not filing. $2575 is only what I know I should have been refunded. In this situation, I should have only paid $950 for 1 application, everything else I did not choose to move forward with. I still try to contact them every few months and there is zero reply. My FBI report is filed but no movement. This set my family back beyond belief. They have no heart, they dont care and they are in the business to fraud people. Please be warned!!!!

The Company requested a $3800 wire transfer for underwriting on the commercial loan with 40% down, then requested an additional $7700 according to the contract we had was refundable however after receiving well over $12,000 they requested additional fees and origination fees upfront and when we refused to do so they kept the $7700 and this is not the first time they have done this after extensive research I found out they have done this to several other people therefore we’re filing a complaint with the attorney generals office and we’re seeking every Avenue to try to expose them so please if you’re dealing with Highland capital group stay away and conduct your due diligence research prior to filing any paperwork with them or wire transferring any funds to them upfront because they’re nothing but a scam , The referral came from home first lending commercial by a John Mendoza out of Florida and the keys, and when I spoke to John was home first landing he said he didn’t receive a dime and he has nothing to do with this although all the transaction was through Home first lending who we will be filing a complaint against as well because they were the first company we contacted for the commercial loan I would exercise due diligence and caution caution caution when dealing with home first landing John Mendoza or when you deal with Highland capital Sabi Varon
