  As a first time home buyer, I was unfamiliar with the process and had a ton of questions. I had the pleasure of working with John Trotman and he was always available and willing to take the time to walk me through the process. Working with Heritage Mortgage was a great experience, John worked along side my agent and attorney to ensure that everything came together perfectly for a smooth closing. I highly recommend Heritage Mortgage if you are looking to buy a home!

  I can't speak highly enough about John Trotman and the team at Heritage Mortgage or recommend them more fervently. John was with me and my husband through every stage of the home buying process, from helping us understand what we could afford to keeping us posted on interest rates to the actual process with the lender. We approached/backed off from buying a home for several years, and John patiently and warmly worked with us through all that time. He always took my calls/responded to my emails quickly and honestly always made us feel like we were the only clients he had. I strongly credit John with our ability to get the great mortgage we got and also for how smooth the process was. He prepared us so well for what the lender would need that by the time we got into the process we only had to provide additional documentation once. He also fought above and beyond for us to get the best rates and closing credits. It was ten times easier than I anticipated it would be, due largely to his experience and professionalism. He worked wonderfully with our other service providers (our lawyer and our real estate broker), and even came to closing just to support us. Thanks to him we have our wonderful first home; even though the mortgage process is over we plan to stay in touch with John and absolutely use him for our next home. Bottom line: I couldn't recommend him more highly!

  We just recently refinanced our home to a 20 year fixed mortgage with the help of John Trotman. I can’t say enough about how smoothly the process went and how amazing John was. His communication through the entire process was amazing. We always knew what was happening and what was going on. I would absolutely recommend John and Heritage Mortgage Company!

  I highly recommend John Trotman at Heritage Mortgage. My husband and I recently built a home and worked with John for our financing. The home building financing process was a bit overwhelming but from the very first day we spoke, I felt like we knew each other for years. He was very knowledgeable and answered the million questions I had even that first day. For the next 6 months, he stayed with me every step of the way, letting me know where the process was, what I needed to provide and when, and even calling to check in and see how the construction process was going. Even after the election, when interest rates rose sharply, I was very disheartened, but John would keep me from going crazy by giving me updated information on rates, and how they impacted me. I felt most of the time like I was his only client....he answered emails and calls promptly, and even called me after work hours to make sure my questions were answered. When it came time to lock a rate, he immediately called me when he thought the time was right and got us a great rate! As we neared the end, the timing was tight and without John, I know we would never have closed on time. He gave me the best advice and kept things moving on his side so that we could get into our new home seamlessly. Again, I can not say enough good things about him and will recommend him to everyone I know and even contact him if I ever get the chance to refinance. Thank you again John!

He really goes above and beyond for his clients. John was available day or night to answer any questions or concerns with professionalism and dedication.   We had a great experience! As a first time home buyer John worked with us for months to get us where we needed to be to get the financing we wanted.   John Trotman is one of the most honest and hard working people I have ever met. He helped me and my wife navigate through buying our first house, and kept us informed at every step of the way. He takes pride in helping people realize their dreams and even though our situation wasn’t an easy one he stuck though and fought with us. Even when others said the numbers wouldn’t work John was able to dig deeper and see what other loan officers overlooked.
