  Tera and her team did an amazing job with the re-finance of our home. She did a great job in working out the best deal she could get. We were a bit nervous with the rates starting to rise.   Tera and her team exceeded ANY and EVERY expectation we had. We wouldn't have been able to purchase our home without them. As first time home buyers we had no idea what was needed, but Tera made us feel like this process was breeze! We came to her unsure if it was even possible to buy a home in Hawaii, but she got us preapproved the next day! We even closed on our dream home in under 30 days! She was so fun to work with and I would recommend her to every single person/family who is looking to buy a home.   Tera and her group are amazing!! We are 'self employed' business owners who were turned down by the traditional banks when looking to purchase our first home on Maui. It was not an easy task, but Tera and Hawaii Financial Services made it happen!! In an amazingly quick time, especially considering all the holidays.   Tera and her crew at Hawaii Financial Services are absolutely OUTSTANDING. They helped me get a home on this beautiful island I was born and raised on. We had less than perfect circumstances and with her expertise she was able to smooth out the kinks and get the loan that I needed. She is amazing at what she does, she actually was able to get my loan closed in 19 days!!!   Want to own a home in Hawaii?? Call Tera!! I'm serious. Call her. Email her. Send in your application to her, no matter how scary or discouraging the thought of homeownership ma Hawai'i Nei may seem to you. As a young family of 6, with one income, raising family and owning a home in Hawaii seems near impossible. Enter Tera Paleka and the Hawaii Financial Services team. My husband and I have used Tera in two separate instances. First, we went in on a home which fell through...heartbreaking, but then there was Tera. She totally held space for us to find hope and continue to have faith that our time and our home would come! In a time when any other business person might have cut their losses and moved along, she kept relationship and an "open door" space for us. To me, that's a big deal. Our second run, during the covid pandemic, we looked at so many homes, ran so many numbers, and Tera was there. Through a moment when she was dealing with her own wellness challenge AND the covid crisis alongside the rest of the world, she worked hard for us! Owning a home was our dream, but Tera shared in that with us by working her tail off through it all and getting us beyond our wildest dreams! No kidding, she works MAGIC! I would put money on it...NO ONE could get us the deal that Tera did! Before the close of 2020 we were homeowners, with unbelievable rates, in a highly coveted neighborhood.   We are truly grateful for Tera and her team. No pandemic stopped them from getting our refinance. They worked very hard to complete the process quickly. Even though we did not get to meet them in office due to pandemic, the communication through email was awesome. I would recommend them to anyone and I will continue to use them in the future.   Tera Paleka!!! I can not say enough about her and how she runs her company. I was under a little stress to get my re-finance done in a timely manner. Tera and her assistant, Mei really came through and we were able to close in less than 2.5 weeks. Tera had to jump through a couple hoops for me during the process and she never hesitated, for that alone, I am extremely thankful. Tera provided me with the best rate when others could not. Tera and Mei are amazing and I will definitely recommend Hawaii Financial Services to my family and friends.   Tera and her team went above and beyond anything you would expect of your mortgage lender. We were previously working with another lender that wasn’t being transparent with us and decided to switch to Hawaii Financial Services. Tera immediately called once our realtor referred us to her, listened to our concerns, provided several options, advised on how to ramp up our credit score and worked diligently to close us on schedule despite the several obstacles we ran into. We listened to her every instruction and we ended up saving so much on closing costs. She is amazing at what she does and has the best attitude in extremely stressful times. Highly recommend!

  I want to sincerely thank Tera and her team for helping us buy our first home! She was really knowledgeable about the whole process and worked hard to help us get the best deal possible. Our credit was not the best, so she is helping us still to refinance in the future to get an even better deal. She went a step beyond anything that I was expecting.   Can you say AMAZING! Without Tera and her team, my family and I would have never been able to reach our goal of owning our own home! I truly appreciate what Tera went through to get us to where we are today! Even when we were knocked down more times than I can imagine, and I was beginning to lose hope, Tera fought for us like nobody’s business! She showed me she’s wasn’t about to take no for an answer!
