  Hat City knocked it out of the park for me on my FFL. They went above and beyond to help. So much so that I ended up buying some more stuff. They made that process smooth too. What speed!! I was in and out ASAP with both items and a big smile. Thanks guys. Definitely going there for FFL and other stuff from now on.

  Best FFL in the Stamford/Norwalk area by far. Always get exceptional service at the lowest transfer cost around. Super quick sending any paperwork out and they spend a ton of time trying to get through to the state. In my experience they are much faster than other FFLs

  Unfortunately, I pawned a unique ring that I had for 20 years. I was told I would receive a call before they sold my items. When my dad went to the emergency room for Covid and spent 2 months on a ventilator I forgot I pawned my jewelry. When I called they told me it was gone. NEVER pawn sentimental items. Also, never trust a pawn shop to call you before they sell your items.

  Michelle, We did indeed call you. On 1/5 we reached out to you. At that point your loan was 90 days past due. You called back on 1/7 and we said we would wait until 1/14 for you to take care of the delinquency. We did not hear back from you until early April, by this point we had already forfeited the loan in March at 120 past due.

  Friendly, helpful staff always have time for their customers. They have a great selection of used music gear at reasonable prices. In 2 years, I never had a bad transaction with them. 5 ***** will shop again!

  Hat city pawn is one of the best places to go! The employees are wonderful and they work with you the best they can. Jon and Anthony are the best! They have been nothing but great with me and are always my go to guys when I need the help. I've been going to them since the store opened in Norwalk and not only are they great with loans but they have a nice selection of items.

  I have to be completely honest. I was so skeptical of the idea of a pawn shop. The owners of Hat City Norwalk have completely taken away any anxiety I had. I walked out feeling confident. I was treated with respect and friendship and I was given fair market price for gold, silver and jewelry. I highly recommend them to all of my friends now!!! Thanks Guys

  Hat city pawn is definitely the best pawn shop in the Fairfield county area. The owner, manager and employees are always polite and informative. I have done business with them for multiple years from everything from gold, power tools and fishing equipment. They have always offered me the best price on gold (trust me I checked prior to selling) and everything else I've pawned or sold. On top of all of that since I am a working man I always arrive 5-10 mins before closing and they always stay and help me out with me pawn or sale. Regardless of how many questions I have. Additionally they have been understanding and worked with me on some of my pawn that were late and didn't just pull and sell them like other places have. I'm not guaranteeing or saying that they will do that for everyone/anyone it was just a real nice gesture that they definitely didn't have to do lawfully.
