  My husbands debit card was hacked. He found out by himself. There were two different charges for hotels in California and New Orleans. Which was causing overdraft fees from his savings to cover his purchases, because of the two hotel charges every charge became an overdraft fee. The bank never even noticed these out of the ordinary charges. When my husband went down to the bank in person the bank manger was not at all alarmed by these charges and was also trying to blame my husband for the overdraft fees, even saying it must be a gym membership fee ( he doesn't have a gym membership ) or his gas purchases at the gas station he has been stopping at for 14 years on his way to work and has never been charged overdraft fee. She then stated there was nothing she could do for my husband until the 16 th ( he went to the bank on the 10th ). He then asked if he should call the credit unions main branch for help? The branch manager says they're just gonna tell you the same thing I just told you! She never offered to put a freeze on his account, and the lack of concern and nonchalant attitude is appalling. My husband did call the main branch. There is someone charging hotels to his checking account. He asked for his debit checking account card to be shut down. He asked for a new card to be sent to him. The bank said yes we will send you a new card and that will be fifteen dollars please!!!!! He then said never mind I'm closing my account. My husband I are shocked by the awful customer service at Hartford Federal credit union. With a bank on every corner we will be shopping for a new bank on Monday!

  I do apologize for the inconvenience your husband has experienced as a result of his card being hacked. Fraudulent card activity is never pleasant. I believe the issues he experienced have now been resolved to his satisfaction.

  The tellers are always very pleasant and helpful however I wish they had more branches opened on Saturdays
