      I have been a member for about 30 years and have always been treated fantastic by the credit union. Today that changed. I was downtown and stopped in to simply ask a question in regards to my loan accounts. But was advised that I couldn’t even ask a question without a appointment. I’m sure this is because of covid 19 but really guys i was allready there and had paid for parking. I have never felt unwelcome by the credit union until today!

      Usually the drive thru is quick however today was terribly slow. I sat in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes before being assisted which resulted in only getting half of what needed done to avoid being late to work. Ridiculous

      I opened my account in less than year and the time I have had the account it has been a horrible experience I got charged an NFS for my car payment my check was delayed I paid it went on with my day I decided to get zelle with my account and lost $270. I spoke with Zelle and was told to speak to the Credit Union I started a claim and was told they couldnt do anything about it so I closed my account. The only reason I opened an account is because I am going to get a house soon and wanted to get a loan here. I will just keep my Capital One account and to think I was going to close my other account and keep this one. Be ware when it comes down to fraudulent activity nothing will be done.

      Worse credit union possible! I've tried to give them the benefit of doubt, but nothing has changed for me. Majority of each employee I've came in contact with lacks in good customer service. I constantly get the run around about issues and someone actually contacting you back, doesn't exist. I stopped sending my direct deposits here because of all my issues, but I kept my account open because of a loan with them. Save yourself time and unnecessary issues and join another credit union. I have another one that I just love and treats you respectfully. I'll assume they have forgot that people do not have to bank with them.

      If possible, I would rate the HCFU with half of a star. Absolutely the worst customer service. Only reason I went with them in the start is because they beat my bank's car loan rate by 1/2 point. I paid the price with sub sub par customer service and shady business tactics. I actually paid off the loan early to avoid being forced to paying extra insurance since the HCFU placed a shady stipulation in the contract. The worst credit union with the worst customer service. Stay away!!!

      By far the worst bank ever. I've been a "member" for 2 years and have never gotten great customer's service except for when setting up an account. I moved, changed my address, lost my card in the move and they tried to tell me I had to wait 30 days for a new card. I asked them would they wait 30 days for a new card? Everytime someone is supposed to "call me back" they dont and I end up having to call back. Their customer services SUCKS major. They are literally good for nothing. I will be switching soon. They say the provided the same benefits as other credit unions but they don't. Don't need fooled.

      The biggest problem I've encountered here is communication - especially if there's a problem to resolve. I've several home loans through HCFCU, so I've dealt with them a lot. I returned because of the interest rates. The loan officers, however, hide behind phones and voicemails when you need them the most. They're apathetic, and in my experience, lack motivation/enthusiasm. I'd strongly recommend someone else for your common banking needs.

      I definitely give five stars to Harris County Credit Union, I have been with them for 18 yrs now and I absolutely love them. They are the first and only account I ever opened, I actually moved an hr away and still use them!

      Unprofessional employees unable to communicate correctly. I did apply online and I was given an appointment and Vanessa Hernandez stated that I do not qualify . Why did they sent emails to confirm the appointment which I made exactly to become a member? This employee Vanessa Fernández seemed really unqualified and not very professional. They wasted my time for nothing.

      I've been banking with them for over 2 years now and I love it, I got my first credit card through them with the help of Marco, I haven't had any issues. I hope in the future they will consider opening on Saturday for a short period of time for people who can't make it in on the weekdays, also the phone system isn't helpful. But other than that I love it!
