Bri Baxter Herrick5As a non customer of #HancockWhitney I am extremely pleased with my experience. I had an emergency and needed their assistance with a banking issue. My single visit was impressive enough to make me go back and begin a banking relationship.
Response from the ownerThank you so much for your feedback! We'd love to have you as a client of Hancock Whitney!

Elizabeth Davis1This is a horrible bank! Don’t go in there unless you have an hour waiting. The employees are very rude and do not want to help you. I will try another Hancock Whitney only because it’s too hard to change banks and hopefully the other branches will be better.
Response from the ownerWe are very sorry that you had this experience. We will pass this feedback to the financial center so that we can do better next time.

Rebecca LeBlanc1I was happily a MidSouth customer for years. Never had a problem, only pleasant experiences with staff. I did not choose this bank. They bought out MidSouth. Second time I’ve had that happen, intentionally choosing to bank with a smaller hometown bank only to have it bought out. It takes too long for deposits to post. I’ve noticed transactions changing order on my online banking requiring me to incur overdraft fees. This practice is incredibly common with big banks. The drive through lines can be absurdly long at times and they closed my favorite and most convenient branches.
Response from the ownerI'm very sorry to hear about your experience. It is always our mission to provide 5-star service and it appears we may have fallen short.

DIY Mobile Home1I’ve received better service at the dmv and post office. This location is horrible. These guys are forcing you to bank with someone else. Inconvenient hours, tellers don’t acknowledge you, and horrible customer service. Additionally, you can’t deposit money at the ATM so that’s why cars are wrapped around the bank everyday. I don’t see this branch staying open very long!! If I could describe this bank in one word: DISASTER!! 10/6/20 Update: Please stop responding to these negative reviews with a canned “5 Star Experience” message. By not addressing the specific issue, you guys only cement the view that your bank doesn’t care about the customers.
Response from the ownerI'm very sorry to hear about your recent experience. It is our hope to always provide 5-star service.

Peggy Gauthier4I have not had any problems switching over to Hancock Whitney. Had one issue when first transferred, being put in the wrong checking account type. Went in to the Pont des Mouton branch & it was resolved immediately. The next month I got a credit for the $12 service charge. My only complaint is the ATM. THE change in location of the ATM, is much better, but still not enough room in the rear of the building, to get out, when vehicles are parked behind the bank and in the extra parking spaces. And when both drive through lanes are blocking exit.

Maggie Timmons J1Whoever came up with the design for this location failed!!!! You should have built a bigger location with a bigger driveway. The owners of the bank had to know that it would be a busy location especially since y’all bought MidSouth and closed the location in Carencro. I have been working in banking for 6 years. Y’all should have plan better for the drive thru so it can be as fast as possible.
Response from the ownerThank you for your candid feedback. We have passed your concerns on to management.

Bernie Trappey1The Pont des Mouton Lafayette, LA branch location is way too small to handle the number of customers using it. You can never get through the drive through in less than 30 minutes because cars are at least 12 deep and out into the street. It's ridiculous. Why in the world did Hancock Whtiney not keep MidSouth Banks Carencro location when they pruchased MidSouth? This branch on Pont des Mouton cannot handle the number of customers that use this branch. Please put a branch location in Carencro!!!!

Minnie Knox1Some of the tellers have poor customer service skills. On two occasions. I had go to another branch. With the same situation and had no problem..
Response from the ownerI'm sorry to hear about your experience. We have passed your comments on to management and hope you have nothing but 5-star experiences in the future.

ob conoby1They closed two nearby branches that had multiple drive-thru lanes and ample parking and then opened one location with only 2 drive-thru lanes and no parking. I fell in love with you already ..... NOT!!!!
