  Best in the area by far! Courteous staff and amazing prices. Very large selection of tools, jewelry and electronics. I had to sell some jewelry and they gave me considerably more than what other shops down New Hampshire Ave quoted me. Highly recommended!

  I've been there twice to sell stuff and they were reasonable both times. Staff are friendly and Charles is a good guy. Both times I walked away feeling pleased with the prices for what I sold to them.

  This is a top notch pawn shop! They have fair prices and treat their customers like people. I have been to a lot of other local stores where they don't even acknowledge you when you walk in. The staff here is always welcoming!

  I Visited this shop to have a CZ stone repaired on my heart shapped necklace that fell out. I did have the stone to be replaced. The repairs done was awesome. They even cleaned my necklace. The cost for the repair was very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While there I spotted a Coach purse that I liked. The staff gave me a very nice price & I ending up buying myself a wonderful gift. I was very pleased with my visit here. Update : I went back to have a pair of earrings repaired. The post broke off. They did a wonderful job.

  My name is Innis. I bought a PS4 from a guy named Charles. He was excellent! He was SO helpful to me. He answered ALL of my questions. Charles was very supportive and explained the whole process of layaway. He was a very nice guy and knew how to do business well. Olga was very nice and gave me her card so I could call the shop and she was very welcoming and all around a nice person. Jason was there when I made my final purchase. He set the PS4 up to teach us how when we got it home. He was very supportive. That's it!

  This is by far the best pawnshop I’ve ever dealt with. They are knowledgeable, courteous and just overall a great place to shop. They treated me wonderful!! I had some old jewelry to sell and they gave me great prices. With the money I got from that I was able to walk out with a great TV. If you are looking for a great place to shop or sell I wouldn’t look anywhere else!!

  The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! The manager is a great person and goes above and beyond to help you with what you need. As a customer of this place I can only say good things. Always been treated nice! I would definitely recommend this pawnshop!

  Came in here for the first time the other day. The staff was very friendly and they had some great items. I purchased a couple of old Silver coins and a mans Rolex watch! Great deals Great people!

  Hampshire Pawnbrokers is the "go to" place for fairness, top quality merchandise, and great customer service from the staff. I'm familiar with other shops in New York, Maryland, DC and Virginia, but this one is my favorite. Suzy, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and has a discerning eye for fine jewelry, plus a relationship with a good jeweler and a good jewelry appraiser. I also appreciate that they get to know regular customers and reach out when something comes in that they think you might be interested in, but there is no pressure if you don't want to buy. The shop is always tidy and uncluttered, and merchandise is well displayed. I highly recommend Hampshire Pawnbrokers for jewelry, watches, musical instruments and power tools, as well as recent model electronics in great condition. Whether buying, pawning or selling, Hampshire Pawnbrokers should be the first place you go to!

  Rip off !!! Terrible service don't waste your time . The sales associate will give you a price then the owner will come over and change the price once you agree to sell. The owner claimed my item was really worth less than originally agreed . The owner started looking for flaws and said my item was only worth the original price if I had all the accessories . Owner said shell give me $60 for a $500 item after the sales person agreed to $75 When all pawn shops look on eBay to see what the used price is and give you a percentage. They only give 20% when other pawns give 30% or more. I drove 5 minutes down the Rd to G&G pawn on University Blvd and got a better deal and walked out in 10 minutes with cash . There are 3 more pawns less than mile away . Total rip off especially when they sell over priced items . I will never go back there my first time was nice but after these last two times this was the last straw. Buy and sell your items somewhere else save yourself the headache .
