  I had such a great experience at Gulf Winds! I applied for a membership and preapproved auto loan on the same day. It was such an easy process. I really like that they only had to pull my credit once. The employees on Creighton were so friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. It was my first time applying for a car loan, so I was so thankful for their easy approval process. I loved their honest approach that made me feel like I was "in the loop"; they told me my interest rate right then and there. Please do not become one of those huge, impersonal credit unions that does everything possible to keep their members out of the loop! Thank you again for such a great experience!

  Gulf Winds is a fantastic, customer oriented Credit Union, but this location has complete garbage customer service. Had nothong but bad experiences at this location, as has many of my friends and colleagues. Employees patronize or talk down to you, the bank sometimes follows it's policies and sometimes it doesn't, and they never go out of their way to help a customer only if its convenient for them. Terrible location.

  I just got a 1.49% loan from these folks for a used car that I purchased out of state. The process was a little long (because of working with an out of state dealer--instead of a local one) but it all worked out just fine. I sold my older auto to a coworker and he also got a 1.49% loan on the used auto. I am now encouraging my son to refinance his auto loan from these folks in order to save some money. When I stopped in to pick up the check to give to the dealership (I had done everything over the phone up to that point), everyone was very friendly and made me feel like they really cared that I was there.

  So far I have been waiting to be seen for over half an hour just to close an account. They have never had great customer service and they can't blame covid, since it has been this way before then.. Not leaving till I close my account.

  I have always gone through Gulf Winds for my auto loans. They beat every rate in town everytime. Shelly in the loan department is amazing and goes over and beyond for the members and the great customer service really stands out over others.

  I want to publicly thank Sherry in mortgages for the world class customer service she provided. We found our dream home but the conditions required us to apply, qualify and receive a mortgage in less than one month! It would have been easy for Sherry to tell us it was impossible, but she said she could do it and she did. When we hit snags she provided solutions. Gulf Winds exceeded our expectations.
