  Working with Derek was a great experience. My husband and I were first time buyers and had very little knowledge on how the mortgage process worked, but Derek was able to walk us through it with ease. We ended up putting a lot of offers in due to the current market craziness, but he was always available to crunch numbers at a moments notice. It was a pleasure to work with him, and we look forward to working with him again in future endeavors!

  Buying a house for the first time didn't come easy for me. I was clueless about almost everything and went into it with some real rocky credit. Buying a home wouldn't have been possible without Derek's help. He was very kind, patient and worked for several months to get my credit exactly where it needed to be, along with other programs to be sure I could purchase a home with little to no effort. There were days I would call him in a panic and he would talk me though all my concerns in seconds. I would highly recommend Derek if you are in need of a mortgage, you won't be disappointed. Honestly I wouldn't be a home owner today without his help.

  My husband and I had a pretty bad experience working with another mortgage company before working with Derek and the RMS team. Our realtor called Derek told him our situation and asked if he could help. He consulted with us and told us what we needed to do on our end and that if we did that he would be able to get us in a house and he came through! Working with him and his team was such an amazing experience for us! We wouldn’t want to work with any other mortgage company!

  I highly, highly recommend working with Derek on securing a mortgage or refinance. He worked really hard to get my husband and me the best interest rate possible. The entire process was very transparent, and Derek kept us informed from start to finish. Everyone in the RMS office was wonderful to work with, including Tiffany and Jacob. You can't go wrong here!

  Derek and his team were great, they made the whole home buying process smooth as can be. I was lucky enough to be given Derek's number when shopping for a mortgage and I am glad I was, they were able to get us to the closing table on time and beat all the competitors rates.   As first time home buyers, we had no idea what we were doing. Derek guided us through the entire process. From advising us on our budget, connecting us with a realtor, recommending a home inspector, and getting the paperwork signed, Derek and his team at RMS were knowledgable, helpful, communicative, and efficient. When the appraisal came back lower than expected, Derek explained our options and worked with us to find a solution. When there were issues with the title, Derek stayed on top of the problem and kept us informed. When we missed our closing date because of bureaucratic complications related to Covid-19, Derek was understanding and made sure the deal did not fall through. Derek and his team made our purchase happen. They were helpful, personable, and amazing throughout. We highly recommend him!

  We bought our first home with Derek’s assistance. He made a scary/unknown process a fun and exciting time! He was knowledgeable and informative about the finances, as well as patient with our many questions. I felt so comfortable with my house purchasing team that one day when I go through it again, I definitely will go through the same people, including Derek.
