  We have worked with Chris on numerous occasions. When we purchased our first home, Chris was very patient and answered every question, and even further explained everything if needed. We worked with him when we sold that home & purchased our current home. Chris also reaches out to us when a better rate presented itself for us. We have refinanced our home loans with Chris a few times and it's always been because HE found US a better rate. Not the other way around. Chris is always friendly, patient, and has given us nothing shy of the best experience when buying, selling or refinancing our home. I would absolutely recommend Chris!!!!

  My husband and I are from a small town, and chose a local bank to set up our mortgage with. The only option they presented to us was a high flexible rate. We were referred to Chris and he found us a low fixed rate. Chris has a real passion for helping his customers proactively adjust their loans. He has helped us several times to refinance our mortgage for the better. Were it not for Chris, we would still be paying that high flexible rate.   We first worked with Chris a little over three years ago, and he was amazing to work with! Chris is very responsive, clear in his communications, and took the time to fully answer any questions we had. Best of all though, as we've had questions over the last couple of years about the best time to refinance or how best to fund home improvements, Chris has been very helpful and transparent about what our best options were. Over the last 20+ years we've owned/financed a few homes and I can say without a doubt Chris has provided the best lending experience yet and will absolutely be our go-to lender in the future.

  I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Chris. When I was first selecting a lender to borrow from to buy my first house, Chris not only had the most competitive rates out of the gate, but he was willing to educate me a bit on the process and explain little arcane pieces of the paperwork. He was very available, even when I forgot what day of the week it was and called him on a Saturday! He has been proactive about helping me refinance, approaching me several times about completely free and low-impact refinances that have already saved me thousands of dollars. I have referred him to several of my friends who are also very happy.

  I originally got hooked up with Guild Mortgage through Cornerstone Mortgage. Our previous contact set us up with Chris Wood a year or two after we had initially closed on our house. My wife and I are both relatively young, so I didn't think much of it at the time because we didn't really envision refinancing, nor did I know much about the process. Chris actually sought me out whenever interest rates dipped significantly lower than what had at the time and made the process very easy and understandable. Reading through all of the different documents was at times confusing, but Chris would always shoot an immediate email back to me if I contacted him and helped to alleviate any confusion or questions I had. Again, he always kept explanations simple and relevant, and each refinance was reasonably priced. I recommended Chris to my dad to refinance his mortgage and he's been very pleased as well. If you're looking for a home loan or to refinance, you owe it to yourself to call Chris Wood.
