  We used Guaranteed Rate at the recommendation of our realtor and I'm SO glad we did. They easily and professionally helped us get the best rate, walked us through the process of home-buying, and even took care of us when an emergency required opening some new loans/credit during our closing process. They are PROS at the VA loan process, nice and responsive, professional, and just all around a great company to work with. Their team runs well and we loved the good communication-they will get my recommendation every time.

  We are first time homebuyers and didn't know how to use our VA Loan but we are so grateful for Chris and Sean and their whole team to be able to walk us through the entire process!   I hate that as a first time home buyer this was my first choice and a bad experience. I spoke with Chris F. & the first initial convo went great, that’s why I decided to go with them. However, after he ran my credit he never got back with me & did not even return my call after I followed up. This is extremely stressful for me & unprofessional of him. I would not recommend! Now I have to find another reliable lender & have my credit ran again.

  I was taken aback by Ashlyn Crump, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. I originally worked with Stacey Brandon who was great, but I got contacted several times by Ashlyn. I asked Ashlyn about mortgage products offered by Guaranteed, and she refused to answer, stating she will not move forward without a hard credit pull and stated that over and over again. I haven't met anyone in the residential mortgage industry as rude and crass as Ashlyn, and was happy to take my business elsewhere. If using Guaranteed, avoid her at ALL costs.

  I'm the realtor for both sides on purchase where Guaranteed Rate is the lender. I got all kinds of assurances that they would hit the dates with no problem from both the lender and the buyer who had a previous good experience with them in the past. Right now they have delayed our closing a full week behind schedule when the buyer has done everything right. They claim it's underwritting's fault. I know things happen but they only informed us that there would be delay the day before closing and then said it would be 5 more days. That doesn't make sense. During that time they have been difficult to reach and never make the first call to give me an update. I always have to pester them. Now they've missed the second date they promised. I heard they did a good job in the past but something is seriously amiss at this location right now.
