      New to the area. Walked in 10 mins to closing. I was having issues with moving and current banks. The team at this location is excellent and professional. They helped me figure out my issues and got me in touch with Bailey. She got me completely setup and taken care of and she didnt care about leaving late if it meant helping me out. I highly recommend doing business here and when push come to shove they step up for their clients. Thanks again!

      I have had a great experience through Green State. Jason has went above and beyond to help me when I was trying to figure out my gap insurance on my daughter's car. I would totally suggest using Green State Credit Union in Waukee.

      GreenState has been my go-to for the last 10 years. Highly recommend for any financing needs, they have always taken care of us and offered exceptional rates and service. Ask for Bailey in North liberty, she is creative and will be professional and supportive in a way you won't find with big banks.

      The staff has caused nothing but issues with a loan payoff. On top of that the call center is not helpful in least and is full of excuses with no solutions. I will not be doing business with them once this transaction is over. All in all they are very nice but nice doesn't help the run around I've gotten. Edit: After talking to Amy a solution was found and while I am still disappointed in what happened she has done what she can to aid the situation without causing more issues. Thank you Amy.

      I was attracted to this credit union because of decent deposit rates and the absence of fees on incoming transfers. I was tired of paying high fees at my old bank to receive wire transfers into my account. With a few weeks of opening the account, the interest rate dropped 14%. A few months later, a new charge started showing up on my incoming wire transfers. This was all disappointing, but what made it more upsetting was the total absence of customer service. When I tried to talk to someone at the bank -- the account officer who opened my account was never available -- I had to leave on the first two occasions after sitting there for 15-20 minutes (this in an office where employees outnumbered customers by about 5 to 1). The third time I was able to wait long enough to talk to an account officer, and he merely told me what I already knew -- my interest earnings went down and I was being dinged by a new fee. Rates go up and down, but I explained that I opened the account largely because I was told there would be no fee. He showed no interest in trying to solve the problem -- not even trying to connect me with a decision maker. I explained to him that I expected better service at a local credit union than I received at a money center bank, but I experienced just the opposite. Unlike at a big bank, there is no benefit to carrying a large balance because this credit union treats everyone equally bad. As I got up to leave, he glibly said, "Let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you." All I could say was, "You haven't helped me."

      This is one of the worst banks I've ever worked with. Rude, poor follow up, and overall wicked when it comes to overcharging fees. Do yourself a favor and find another bank/ credit union. Anyone can do better than these guys.
