      The employees in the bank are great. The bank policies are trash. Same thing they'll deny you for, Baxter credit union will approve. Haven't been given a credit increase in over 7 years with good standing. Take your money elsewhere

      All branches are not equal. I highly recommend the Waukegan branch on Lewis avenue. I asked for pre-approval for a used car loan. Two women sat down with me for well over an hour. Discussed my situation, gave me lots of advice to empower me with credit and they continue to help me with any banking questions that I have today. I can't say the same for the North Chicago branch location. Nothing bad there, but certainly nothing special. Location, location, location.

      Absolute worst bank. Customer service is terrible. They do whatever they please with your money and don’t give it back. Highly do not recommend being a part of this bank

      The only problem i have with this bank is the hours why do yall close at 1 oclock on a saturday it makes me furious.

      Closed on Wednesday! Wow. Good thing no one needs to do banking in the MIDDLE of the week! How about closed on Sunday/Monday like everyone expects and every other bank? Unless they are open on Mondays.

      They are friendly & helpful at GLCU & give the credit union a small-time, local feel :), even though it's grown to multiple branches now! Personal Bankers Scott & Tanya have both gone above & beyond to help me with my questions and transactions, & made me feel welcomed, heard, & understood. :)
