GradFin Reviews

Rachel Colella-Squire5I was connected with GradFin through my husband's financial advisor and wasn't sure what to expect. We had a free consultation to discuss what GradFin can do for me and my loans and I was able to ask several questions regarding my student loans, the recent waiver, forgiveness options, etc. I mentioned that I was waiting for my payment counts to come in to determine where I stood in the loan forgiveness plan and once those came in I may need to reach out for further assistance. My counts finally came almost 4 months later and they seemed wrong! I immediately signed up for a membership and made my appointment to review the information and allow GradFin to discuss my issues with my loan info, on my behalf! Well, the next day a new letter arrived and my loans were forgiven as I hit the 120 qualifying payment mark! I sent it to Amelia at GradFin (who I had discussed with before) and asked if I was missing anything and she reviewed the letter and said it was legit! Holy cow, it seemed like I would never get to 120 payments! Anyways, I told her I guess I wouldn't need the services anymore and she congratulated me and ensured my membership was refunded. There is no doubt in my mind, that if I needed GradFin further, they would have continued to advocate for me as needed and get the conclusion I desired! Amelia was very pleasant and easy to communicate with as well! I have already sent their information to several friends as they are struggling with getting information from their loan providers. If I had to, or run into any issues in the future, I will definitely be reaching out again! :)

Danielle Rispoli2This is not for me personally, but for my son. Gradfin was recommended to my son, in order to consolidate upcoming private student loans. He spoke with an financial advisor on several occasions. My son said the meetings went well. My son even explained to him that one of the lenders of the private student loan's, went into liquidation and therefore, the loan went into collections. The advisor gave my son a sense of hope that it would work out because of clients that this has happened to. So, on the final meeting with advisor, my son said the advisors demeanor was different. He was very kirk and told my son he wasn't able to consolidate due to the collection. DUH, my son already told him about that and he should not of been so surprised. Anyway, the ending of their conversation was as it they had never even spoke on those few occasions. Very disappointing!!!

Mark Kehl5GradFin (in particular, Amelia) was amazing to work with. She was always prompt and clear with her communication and made the whole process seamless and frustration free! I have been paying on my loans for more than 16 years so when the final letter came stating that my loans were forgiven, I immediately reached out to Amelia to thank her for her help along the PSLF journey (which was rather quick in my opinion). Highly recommend!

Laura Presto5I worked with Alyssa in refinancing my student loans and she could not have been more helpful, patient, and amazing to work with. I had many different loan types and trying to find the best consolidation program was overwhelming, but she made it easy, took time with my numerous questions, was responsive, and ultimately helped me consolidate and refinance in a way that made sense and saved me some money. I would highly recommend working with GradFin to anyone!

David Little5GradFin walked me through applying for Public Service Loan Forgiveness after the laws temporarily changed in October of 2021 and I had every penny of my remaining $120,000.00 worth of federal loans forgiven. I will never be able to fully express my gratitude for GradFin. This will positively change my life in ways I'm not even fully aware of yet. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
