  I have done my own taxes for the last 12 years. However, this was the first year I decided to let someone else do them for me since we had another child, had supplemental income from my wife, and bought a new house. I couldn't be happier with the results from Goldin Group. They saved me so much money by reviewing my documents meticulously and finding deductions that I would have not found myself. Golding Group also showed me how to adjust my payroll withholding to get more money back each week instead of giving the IRS an interest free loan. The employees at Goldin Group are amazing and very friendly and if you have tax questions their website is a great place to start.

  We contacted the Goldin Group because we were in the process of starting our business and needed some sound, professional financial advice.   For the past 10 years, my family has been using someone that my husband has known for years. All was well (though a bit inconvenient because we had to drive quite a distance to drop off our papers to his house), until in recent years, mistakes were made that affected us terribly! With the Goldin Group, it has been such a hassle free experience and most of all stress free. We don't have to drive anywhere to drop off papers, since all documents are scanned through a secure portal, and should any questions arise, we were able to reach our accountant Mia, and always received a call back before the end of business day. I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had: no stress, no filing extensions, prompt call backs, just an overall easy process!

  Tax day- one of the things we don't look forward to! Unless we r getting a big fat refund i.e.! Having filed independently before, I heard of the Goldin Group's tax services and that they make good preps yielding better refunds.I looked up online and was impressed by the gamut of services and options they offered. I set up an appointment over a GoTo meeting (online) and in under an hour,they made their estimates for my visa status. Not only that, they made sure they answered all my queries to my best understanding and helped me get a better refund than what I had been calculating myself.   Having recently graduated college, I have consequently fallen out of the "Dad will do my taxes" umbrella. While I did not use this group specifically to do my taxes (I did them myself!), their website was tremendously helpful in figuring out what I needed to do as far as filing, deductions, and figuring out how my 401 (k) and IRA fit into everything. I never knew how much of a pain filing my tax information was, but Goldin Group definitely made it a whole lot easier. On their website, they not only allow you to contact them directly with specific questions, but they have a vast knowledge base of information pertaining to everything you would ever need to know regarding your taxes. They offer a variety of different FAQ sheets, and I found "Tax Saving Strategies," "Tax Benefits of Higher Education Costs," "Record Keeping for Your Taxes," and ""Traditional & Roth IRAs" extremely informative and helpful. They also have many built in calculators that can help you with your taxes if you do not want to shell out the money for TurboTax. If, like me, you have no idea how to do your taxes, this is an excellent first stop to take. They also have a lot of other functions on their website for tracking, but I was unable to use those because I mainly just wanted to get my taxes done as soon as possible.   As a freelancer, there really isn't any program for retirement. As I approached 40, then passed it and moved on to 45, I started to sweat a little.   I recently decided to sell my business (inherited), so I was in need of some assistance to say the least. Firstly, let me say, that they are very professional.
