  They will turn you away if you ask them make smaller bills, will not recommend. I have an online banking system and can check out money at any atm but I guess theres rules in place if I need 1's or 5's. They suggested I go to Target and ask for small bill's.

  Slowest bank in town, ATMs are down 50 percent of the time.a couple of the tellers are easy on the eyes and polite.... But easily the longest wait times of any golden 1 in Sacramento. I avoid going here at all cost

  I have been a member for more than 40 years, but they are too big to care about anyone or anything. One of their tellers once asked me why I don't have a mortgage with them or even a credit card. I could have talked all day about all the reasons and all the times they treated me with less care than I deserved. Changing banks is tough with all the automatic banking going on, and all the notices it would require. I once tried to get a mortgage here. They will absolutely never return your calls. They missed deadlines, leaving me to scramble for another mortgage on short notice to keep a deal from falling through. They still wanted their fee even though I had to find someone else to complete the transaction they could not complete by the promised date. I once applied for a Visa card, telling them I did not have time to make payments, so they set up an automatic payment. They only took out the payments when they were overdue, cancelled the card, and left me a bad mark on my credit report for their mistakes. Another teller once called me a liar to my face. I told him he could verify the facts with another employee sitting in an office in the corner. Did he? Of course not, he just insisted I was a liar. On the plus side, they have good rates on credit and loans I don't need. I get free money orders and transfers.

  I have unfortunately made the mistake of getting a loan here. I can not set up an automatic from the savings account that I also set up. I went in 2 times(different locations), and set it up was told everything was done. Yet they don't make the payment. Third time I do it by phone they can't set up autopayment unless it is from an external account... So I set up an autopayment from an external account and the payment still doesn't go through. Apparently the account number on my book of payment slips is actually for the savings, so the payment got deposited there. Never got a message or warning there was an issue processing the set up after I was told it was "all done" Let's see if the 5th time is the charm, or if I get another latefee/ credit ding

  The staff is friendly enough, as with any bank, they make money off you so the HAVE TO BE courteous. EVERY TIME I come here there is MORE than 10 people in line. Usually only 2 or 3 tellers. The wait is COMPLETELY unreasonable and ridiculous ANYTIME you choose to go. Their change machine is ALWAYS broken or not working. If you need to see a banker, the wait is ALWAYS over 30 minutes. This place is inefficient and needs to hire more people.

  They do not have enough people working here. There was a line with 25 people when they opened and only 2 people helping everyone. I have been standing in line for 20 minutes and there are still 10 people in front of me.

  Michael has excellent customer service! I visited this location on 2/11 around 1pm. He provided me with the best service possible and gave me a new debit card on the spot because I lost my old one. He didn't seem fake either, he's a genuine nice person.

  Watch out for this bank. I had an account with them for over a year. Never a problem with my finances. I did help someone with a drug problem set up a bank account and was told by the bank that they were primary and I had no liability. NOT TRUE....that person cheated the bank out of $1450. The bank went into my savings without my permission or my knowledge and debited my account for the money. They took no legal action against the person, just took my money. Be careful, this is not an ethical organization and will steal from you given the chance

  Staff are ALWAYS friendly and efficient. The lines for a window are often lengthy, because this branch is very busy. However, if you must wait to see a banking rep, the chairs are FILTHY and in need of a good shampoo or replacement. How 'bout another branch, maybe in Gold River? :-)

  Pretty good place to bank. Employees are courteous however the lines are typically long something that can be addressed with more tellers however not the biggest deal..
